This coming from you is hysterical.

No you didn't. You absolutely did not point out what you claimed that I asked you to back up. Strike 2.Goldenrichards83;2957517 said:Really? You told me to point it out I did. He's blaming the defense who played decent ball until late but you chop it up however you want. This game was all on Romo, period. He doesnt play the way he does this game is won fairly easily.
Which begs the question from me, why did we not call a couple of timeouts once they were in FG range to have some time on the clock?ddh33;2957792 said:You want to know why I'm sticking with Romo?
Because if the Cowboys were needing a field goal to win and getting the ball back with 2 minutes go, I think Romo would find a way to get those points. Even in a crappy game, I think he and his offense would have found a way to score. They always do. And they did it last night. Not many guys can do that.
I thought Romo had a horrible game last night. But he wasn't alone. And for the life of me, I can't understand why Cowboy fans have to be so specific with their hate. I can think of a ton of people to blame for losing last night, and Romo is only one of them.
Whatever happened to winning and losing as a team? Some of you guys talk a lot about not wanting "celebrities" on your team, but you make them that way by elevating them above the rest of the team when every player ought to be in this thing together.
The Cowboys lost. It took a team effort to lose that game

Yes I did but you will see it as you see fit too. Are we playing baseball? He's blaming the defense not Romo. Now yoiu answer something for me, if Romo doesn't turn the ball over the way he did do we win this game? Or is this strike 3 for me? I take it once I strike out I want be able to bat anymore.:laugh2:Hostile;2957803 said:No you didn't. You absolutely did not point out what you claimed that I asked you to back up. Strike 2.

No, he isn't. He's saying that Romo's failures have nothing to do with theirs. It really is not that hard to grasp.Goldenrichards83;2957920 said:Yes I did but you will see it as you see fit too. That is EXACTLY what he is confused with.SultanOfSix;2957926 said:I think you're confused in believing that the idea that blaming others for their faults is absolving Romo of his mistakes.
Just because he mentioned that the defense played poorly doesn't mean he is absolving Romo for his mistakes, and I think that is what is the point. There was plenty of blame to go around yesterday.

Righttttttttt! He's really laying it thick on the guy who we all know cost us this game. The secondary had it problems but they actually kept us in the game in making the Giants settle for field goals. Where the blame for Romo?theebs;2956832 said:I said it in another thread. I will say it again. This group of guys on offense are fighters, they play for 60 minutes. After all the crap, some bad luck, some bad plays the offense had the ball with 7 minutes to go needing a touchdown. Romo hits witten on a huge third down and they go and score.
this offense always has its composure and it neve quits. Like the seattle playoff game for instance, romo not only led 1 drive to get us in scoring position, thanks to the witten fumble he actually did it twice in the fourth quarter.
the defense is handed a first and 20 and do not even force the giants to need 4th down to keep going. Its the same old same old. All the prima donnas are on defense, all the money, the head coach's specialty. And we lose with the defense on the field.
The secondary played a game tonight that looked straight out of dave campo's playbook via the late 90s and early 00's.
as long as the offense has to account for the defense they will be aggressive and take chances. And chance is a horrible game to play.
I already understand that you do not get it. I'll bet you a buck that if you ask theebs if Tony Romo is blameless for the loss last night (that is what absolve means) he will agree with me and disagree with you.Goldenrichards83;2957964 said:Righttttttttt! So I don't sgree with you and you try to insult me like I don't know what absolve means. I get it. Didn't know we couldn't agree with eachother without trying to make the other look like he's ignorant. No prob. I know the rules now. Thanks.Hostile;2957984 said:I already understand that you do not get it. Yes, he is defending the guy, but he is not absolving him as you claimed. No one is.
Maybe I should of said defend him. How can anyone defend this guy from lastnight? How?Hostile;2957984 said:Yes, he is defending the guy, but he is not absolving him as you claimed. No one is.

Of all the crap he has ever done ...... That bothered me the most and made me lose all respect for Wade.

That isn't what is happening at all.Goldenrichards83;2957997 said:So I don't sgree with you and you try to insult me like I don't know what absolve means. I get it.
