Jerome Henderson will no longer be coaching the Dallas Cowboys defensive backs.

According to FOXSports.com, Henderson will be joining the Miami Dolphins' staff.

Henderson, who spent four seasons with the Cowboys, was coaching in the final year of his contract. He interviewed for the Cleveland Browns' head-coaching job on Friday.

Very excited for him to be gone. Have never been happy with our secondary since he has been here. Players never turned around to look at the ball and they never played players aggressively. Always 10-15 yards off...

Hope this can be the start of a new chapter, especially if we can get rid of Carr, Claiborne, Church, and Wilcox.

They haven't looked back for a ball since 1995

While I'm happy to see Henderson gone as well, I'd have to say, outside of a few seasons here and there, this has been the case. It's the players fault just as much.

We had those same complaints way before Henderson came on, so I expect none of that to change.

He had Carr, Mo, Wilcox, and Church to work with. I challenge you to find a worse starting 4 in the league.

This is the same guy that developed Joe Haden and TJ Ward on a Browns team that was terrible but had a top 3 pass defense.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken poop, which is exactly what we have him. Amazing that he was able to coach the PS players to INT's, and then gave him crap at basically 4 out of 5 starting positions in the secondary, in a man scheme, and want to blame him for their poor play.

I hope we replace him with someone "better", trust me. But until we upgrade the personnel, we'rd just treading water.

I always found it funny that guys off the street always produced INTs at CB for as long as I can remember, even more so in the past 6-10 years. Patmons pick 6 last year and Mitchell and Olaytoye this year.

I have read that Henderson is very demanding. Sometimes you can coach out instincts.

What on earth makes you think he didn't have a hand in recommending the talent we had?

He was pretty much front and center in the draft room high fiving after we drafted talents like Claiborne, Ahmad Dixon, Mitchell, Wilcox, B.W. Webb and Matt Johnson.
