One thing that Dallas and Seattle have going for them - and this cannot be overlooked - is that they have no state tax. When signing a contract for millions of dollars, having the state take 8-10% of your pay every year makes a difference. JMO

I was going to mention that, we get an instant discount for that alone.

Or he has two deals he can use to parlay Jones' desperation driven by Marinelli-infused passion to get more than he was getting. While both his other suitors had the money, were they going to pay him to be the centerpiece? Not in Minnesota. Probably not in Seattle either.

Wow. I have never seen an assistant coach get so powerful so quick. You would think he's the head coach.

But then again, when you have a GM incapable of independent thought and a head coach in training, there you go.

Ive been in a few bar fight and kicked out of many so i wontt say much on that subject. I just question his intelligence considering he just had acl surgery a couple of months prior and was rehabbing his knee. Fighting and wrestling around with bouncers, bartenders and the owner isnt the best thing for a guy coming off acl surgery just a couple of months before. If he injures it again thats his lively hood and you would think he realizes that. Hopefully it will be a lesson learned if he signs here

meh, we ALL like Rod but this comes down to cheddah....as is always does. Still don't see what the fascination is with this guy. Solid player when he was healthy but now that he's coming off an ACL....don't see him being a big difference maker on a totally rebuilding defense. Just go young once and for ALL.

What I don't understand is the fascination with the ACL tear. It's practically a non factor in my mind.
