I don't disagree that Jerry want's to win real bad. However, I question his motive for wanting to win real bad. I think he want's to win real bad to prove that he did not need Jimmy Johnson to win a Super Bowl. If he wanted to win real bad, wouldn't he do what was necessary to win? Jerry has even said that he would have fired the GM by now.
Come on. If winning was his top priority he'd have a top level coach. He saw first hand what can happen when you have a strong coach like Jimmy or Bill and stay out of their way, but that wasn't "fun" for him, because he couldn't have his hands all over the team and THAT is his top priority. Him having fun is P1.
Not thats the part where he simply doesnt get it. He either thinks that Garrett is good or he doesnt value coaching. Its not a lack of desire, its just that he is too pig headed or blind to figure it out.
They also think Hitch is better than Lawrence. That's a no from meNo chance “on paper” to be a better team because they didn’t trade for, or sign a safety? When free agency just started and with the draft yet to come?
Good Lord. Talk about panicking.

Curious if you had your choice which of the following would you prefer ?
Earl Thomas
Tyrann Mathieu
Derwin James
I think with me personally I would almost rather have James because for 4 years plus a 5th Year Option
your not paying the guy 12 Million a year like Thomas and Mathieu might get. Lets not forget Vaccaro.

Just as silly as not using FA/trades to build your team.....hmmmm.
Good. Good teams don't sign free agents or make trades. See Philly and New England.
and they are failing at that. i would rather take all the money your are going to pay the Carroll's/Paea's/Thorntons of the world and sign a Josh Stitton to soldify the OL.Not silly at all. Stephen does not believe in the first week of FA. He & McClay will be looking for a couple of bargains next week when
prices come down. This is called frugality and common sense management. Shinny new toys that cost a boatload of money and rarely
work out better than a draft pick seems like the way to go for me. I would not give up draft picks or big contracts to those two safeties.
Jerry would probably unload his bank account for one of these guys but, Stephen will not.
I agree. 10 picks. You can address a lot with those picks. Why spend bookoo money on a safety when you have AllPro players that need to get paid.We need to eventually resign Martin and Lawrence. DAK could be deserving of a big contract in the near future. Irving could be in the same boat.
The sky is not on fire. We have done a very good job drafting the past couple years. We have 10 picks right now.
