That is true.

Last year he got behind D. Hall and every knows he is the best CB in the league right now.

He got behind more defenses than just Atlanta.

Against Washington he just needed to catch that one. Dangit!!

Look this really stinks.... but I just have a hunch that we are gonna be JUST FINE.

Sam Hurd is a player with some tremendous upside. Patrick Crayton is a rock solid receiver. Fasano is blossoming. Whitten and TO are absolute studs. Barber can catch the ball, Jones can too.

I think we lose some big play ability yes, but we have just become a team that eats up first down yardage IMO. Hurd has terrific hands and is being schooled by the best WR on earth practically. We will move the football, fear not.

I think this might even help Tony out some... he doesn't have to "share" the football between two stud receivers. He can play his game which is to spread the ball out and look for T.O. as option 1A. Anyone agree with me?

It's an initial terrific blow, but.... We MIGHT have just gotten better. Time will tell. Either way, it's the hand we're dealt I think we are gonna an outstanding offense with or without TG. Now if we lose T.O. ... we gots an issue, but even then I don't think we're dead in the water.

Excellent post my friend!!!

After the shock and the initial feeling of "there goes the season", cooler heads have prevailed and Beast agrees with you that this may be a blessing in disguise.

I really think the young guys will step up. Plus, we have a full year to evaluate if anybody on the roster can be the #2 guy to Owens. I dont know about yall, but I would like some evaluation time before spending possibly a top 5 pick next year on a rookie WR.

If Crayton or Hurd can handle being #2, we can then focus on McFadden or a top flight CB.

Same situation with Ellis, we can evaluate if we really need him in this new scheme. Frankly I am tired of his crying every freaking offseason and would trade him for a mid round pick, if I could get that much.

I think we will be fine guys, dont worry.:)

It was a joke....;)

But my dynasty in madden could sure use him.. I was going to start it soon but I am not sure if I want to update the new roster with the possibilty of TG going on IR.

That would be a thought if possession receiving was needed - but Terry' replacement needs to ne someone to set the d's back with a speed threat

key did 'suggest' last night on his radio show that even with randy moss in ne, Belichick showed interest in signing him.

but he also admitted, finally, himself, (and it was funny!) that he's lost speed.

so he must be slow as molasses this year.:)

:laugh2:

:lmao:
