But some reporting says it wasn’t really all Jerry saying bye to Mike but also Mike saying bye to Jerry, that Dallas wanted Mike back but on their terms
Both could be true. Maybe Jerry decided to not meet Mike's reported length demand after he knew Deon was interested. Then Jones walked away from negotiations when Mike wouldn't cave. Not saying that happened but it's a possibility.

Yeah I hate how fans do the whole "he'd never do it here" nonsense....that type of thinking and crap is why some people stay behind. that type of thinking would've not allowed us to sign Jimmy. You just never know.
Comparing Jimmy to Deion? Jimmy had coached for over 20 years before coming to Dallas, including winning a national championship. The 49ers even considered him after Walsh retired.

Listen I get you are down on the way this team/front-office has operated these past few seasons, but hiring Deion would actually be a good move.

And its not guaranteed Shedeur goes at the top of the draft
This team needs discipline. They need an innovative mind. Neither are Deion.

Granted I have zero belief Jerry would hire an up and coming, brilliant coach. Deion might be the best they can do.

and it certainly is not guaranteed he would flame out.
I have little doubt if Shadeur is coached by his dad it won’t end well. It’s one thing to treat your kid differently in college but favor your kid in a NFL locker room? Yeah that crap won’t fly.

The best thing for Shadeur would be find a NFL team with a good QB coach and a HC with some level of discipline instilled in the overall team. That ain’t Deion.

I think this would be a disaster of epic proportions.

But honestly, I'd take Deion over Rivera, or Zimmer honestly. They will produce more of the same, and I'm not interested in that. Deion is a wild card. Nobody can predict with certainty how he'd fare as an NFL HC. He'll probably flame out, but he could surprise everyone.

This is a panic move by Jerry.
He didn't expect McCarthy to tell him to take a hike and now he is left holding the bag and has no idea where to start looking for a new head coach so he panics and calls Deion....

Him and Jerry would fight over the microphone.

Deion would sell the brand, thats for sure.... I wasn't a fan of his when he was here....Jerry would soak up the attention or be pissed because he's not getting ALL the attention
