If I go to a party and someone gets shot should I lose my job? Vick is being crucified because he's a celebrity he did nothing wrong. Unless he pulled the trigger he shouldn't lose his job.

If you violated the terms of your parole and reinstatement into the NFL, then yes. That simple.

Just send Vick back to Jail and be done with him for good. If there was a confrontation between the felon then Vick should be held responsible. Doesn't matter if the other dude crashed the party. Vick should have told some one in his posse to escort him out of the building and have nothing to do with him. Stupid is as stupid does.

Has it crossed your mind that the confrontation occurred exactly for that reason...that the guy showed up uninvited?
Also, at least Roddy White says he and Vick left the party a LONG time .(an hour?) before this stuff went down

Vick has been cleared in the shooting. That does not clear him of being in violation of his parole or reinstatement into the NFL.

Vick cannot associate with felons. The party in itself might be enough to violate him.

I did not say otherwise regarding what would or would not be a violation of his parole. But if he was having an otherwise regular party in no violation and them some guy shows up unwanted and is asked to leave and ends up getting shot long after Vick leaves, the area is a bit more gray. This may not be so with the NFL, but would be so legally.

I haven't forgotten what Vick did. Having said that he wasn't there when the shooting occured. Therefore he is not responsible. Some people here are throwing too broad of a blanket here. Maybe now he won't go to nightclubs period. Hopefully he learns a lesson to lay even lower.
