Of course they're resting their players. Anyone who thought differently was fooling themselves. Philthy will mop the floor with the GiAints.
I guess this officially makes their HC a liar.
Did he have his fingers cross when he said they weren't resting players?
They smoke Minnesota next week then will play Philly in PhillyHe's a coward. Doesn't want to take any chances, even if it means the team won't be ready for the playoffs. The Giants need all the confidence they can get. Getting blown out a 2nd time by the Eagles isn't doing it. But it gives that fat blob another year coaching the team.
The issue is, with limited rosters teams can sell it by only resting a few players. The Giants have about 6-7 guys worth resting (Jones, Barkley, Lawrence, Williams, Kayvon) and the rest should be playing. My opinion....teams should be fined for resting starters. The more you rest...the more you pay.
The idea of adding a 17th game when teams can just rest starters is BS. I don't give a darn whose tired. There are 17 games on the schedule. Unless you have a legit injury, you should be playing.
This wouldn't matter if Dallas had shown up against GB and Jacksonville.
The +14 on NY kind tells the story.
The city would burn...So backups vs backup? lol Not going to happen. should Philly end up losing with backup playing and lose the #1 seed all hell would break loose in Philly. Fully expect to see Philly starters playing in this game, they have had 2 games to clinch the division vs Dallas and NO and blew both chances.
They did show up. They had a double digit lead in both games. They failed to close.
We should be resting guys too. I would rather play healthy on the road than risk injury to a key player on the hopes we get a home game.
At this rate. His body is not currently built for the DE position.NFL careers are about to be 3-4 years shorter. Micah will probably be done in 5 years.
Expect the Giants to get steamrolled in the Wild Card game if they play against a team that doesn't rest their starters like cowards.

Just like a 2-0 lead in soccer, a two score lead is dangerous. Especially in the second half (like our games) You think you’ve got it sewn up..when in fact you are 2-3 plays from being down.
Hopefully we learned from those mistakes heading into the postseason.
If I had to put money on that game, I'm taking the Giants and the points. Easily.
