Really, your own words totally contradict this

Really, .. I don't see the word blame, .. only that I disagree with how he handled it. That is the reflection on Martin that I spoke of. He handled it differently than I would have.

LOL, .. So you had to go back how far, and find one of my posts where you've interpreted my words one way, .. and then you totally disregard the other 15 times in this thread where I have said I don't blame him.

You are really reaching for something that you want to be there, that is not there.

Oh yeah ... .I'm not blaming him ... just saying that how he handled it made it go on longer and escalate. BTW -- the definition of blame is " to say or think that a person or thing is responsible for something bad that has happened"

You didn't use the word blame but your statement fits the definition perfectly.

Incognito's days as a bully go back to his college days as well as days with the Rams. Hope that they can get this situation all straightened out. And this should be sending a warning to the rest, of the 31 teams on hazing.

You sure put a lot of words in my mouth.

Wondering if you even read my post.

Not really. Aquavita got it pretty spot-on. You're wondering what about Martin caused him to be bullied by Incognito and how he let it escalate. Your basically blaming Martin (the victim) for being the target of bullying, just like people blame rape victims for being raped.

So it's clear that I'm "lying about my experience", and yet you've ascertained how seriously toxic a locker room is that apparently only one man has a problem with?

You have the debate skills of a small rodent.

I asked y'all a few very straightforward questions and am still waiting on responses, should either of you care to contribute something other than impotent snark. This is a serious discussion and I guarantee you that more bad information is going to come to light because of these accusations against Incognito. So help me out; I am genuinely curious to know, or at least try to understand, the mindset of people like you who see fit to excuse this behavior in any shape or form.

So instead of laughing off my questions, why not play it straight this time and actually give an answer?

Begs the question of how you know how you would have handled the situation when we don't know all the facts about the situation.

"Honestly, it doesn't matter a bit why it escalated as far as it did--all that matters is that what happened is not acceptable in any civilized environment."

I think this is the turning point for some folks in evolving as "tough, smart men" and not for others. You can be a tough guy and understand this line of civility (personally changed for me when I think about my kids being the weak or "soft kid"). I can only toughen him up so much...

And I have stated many times that RI is responsible for the bullying and that Martin is not responsible.

Whoever initiates the bullying is the bully, ... and it is always the fault of the one that initiates it.

LOL, I have about exhausted every way I know of to explain that to you.

You continue to miss the point about you comments an Martin's role in letting it escalate. You focus is on initiation of bullying. Note to bullying thanjust who started it

the fins and RI's friends were winning early in the week; but by Saturday the tide had turned again. The more people find out about RI the more clear it is that he is truly a POS.

Even the 4-5 ppl in this threaad that are supporting him say he is a POS, which is weird. The scary thing about him is he can turn complete 180 and seem like the most calm rational and level-headed guy you know, when he needs to be. Watch the interview today on Fox pre-game show and see how he is going to be an innocent angel in front of the camera. Those guys who can be a super good guy then go into a torture agent at a pindrop are the most frightening you never know how to act or walk on egg-shells around them without possibly getting beat on.

reasonably intelligent people can sometimes fool others; they can learn to act right and appear normal. What is pathetic is how many will ignore his years of history and take that interview as proof he is not as bad as has been portrayed; that he is misunderstood; etc.

Saying that his has been way overblown by the media and some people is faaaaaaaaaar from supporting him.
And no, im not saying that bullying doesnt deserve attention, but from that to hate crime, or even using the words "death penalty" like one poster did, to some other bunch of overreactions... its an absolute madness that takes focus away from the main subject (bullying) and turns it in to a soap opera.

If you don't think this world would be a much better place without people like Incognito.. that's your opinion.

Mine says this world would be alot better if we didn't have people like that walking around.

Its not just based on this incident either.. do some research and see what type of person he is. He's a joke.

You focus is on initiation of bullying. Note to bullying thanjust who started it

(help me with the bolded part)

For every action there is a reaction.

In this case the 'action' is bullying, .. and the 'reaction' is the response to the bullying by the one getting bullied. 'Reaction' only happens after the 'action', and because of it.

I have blamed the 'action' on RI.

I have not blamed the 'reaction' on anyone. I have said the 'reaction is neither wrong nor right, because everyone is different and everybody's 'reaction' could be different.

I have questioned the 'reaction' only to point out that it is different that what I would have done. I have never blamed Martin for the 'action' or the 'reaction'.

When I have discussed this with family or friends, nobody has thought that I was blaming Martin.

Not sure why, .. after me explaining what I think about all of this, that you are still so dead-set on pinning "blaming the victim" on me.

I have come to the conclusion that you can think this if you choose to, .. because it will only affect your keyboard if you do, .. it won't affect me.

Geee more info come out.....

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ed-me-i-will-murder-your-whole-f-king-family/

“A week before this went down, Jonathan Martin texted me, ‘I will murder your whole F—ing family. Now did I think Jonathan Martin was going to murder my family? Not one bit,” Incognito said.

I pretty much knew this was going down. So now I ask the Martin supporters, if both parties engaged in this equally and Martin is now trying to spin it in his favor, does that make Martin scum for trying to ruin someone's career for personal gain? To me, this pretty much guarentee's no NFL locker room will want Martin.

so naturally you believe RI who has no proof of this versus Martin who does. And RI has such a stellar record as well. Not surprising. The RI home boys will grasp any straw.
