Shocking.

And to all the people that wanted Ricky Williams to be a Cowboys (especially the ones that STILL wanted him to be a cowboy after he went on his "Sebatical"), go hit yourselves on the head with a hammer.

Wow...He just screwed himself of another payday. Miami was going to try and trade him.

In my opinion this cements Terrell Owens to Denver. They were rumored to be weighing one or the other but not both. Look for a trade to happen.

Dolphins' Williams tests positive for drug use
BY JASON COLE jcole@MiamiHerald.com

Dolphins running back Ricky Williams faces at least a one-year suspension from the NFL after testing positive for drug use a fourth time under the league's substance abuse policy.
Two sources confirmed a report by WSVN-TV that Williams had failed the test, although neither would say the substance Williams used. On three previous occasions, Williams had tested positive for using marijuana.
Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene declined to comment Sunday night.
''Because of the confidential nature of the league's substance abuse policy, we can't comment on any aspect of that program,'' Greene said.
Williams returned to the NFL this season after retiring for the 2004 season. He missed the first four games of the season and was fined an additional four weeks of salary from the second and third violations of the substance abuse program.
Those positive tests had occurred in December 2003 and in the 2004 offseason. Williams returned to have a productive season.
Williams has spent much of the offseason in Northern California studying yoga and holistic medicine.

Sorry for not posting the article. Don't know how to do it. Go to rotoworld.com or miami herald.

That last line explains it.

HAHA thats some funny stuff, Ricky can kiss whatever chance of getting himself a good chunk of $$$$$ gone. it's surprising as you would think he would be smarter than that and i wished him well as he obviously played at Texas but yet its not shocking

That guy has the talent to be a hall of fame type of back. In terms of pure potential wasted he has got to be one of the biggest dissapointments to ever grace an NFL uniform. It is a shame that people like him are given talent like that.

Like he really cares. The only reason he came back was so he wouldn't have to pay back the money.

Exactly. But even though still has that big "L" on his forehead some team will be stupid enough to want to sign him.

I realize rules are rules, and he should be suspended for violating them, but it seems unjust that there are sexual offenders and gun crazed maniacs still playing.
