No kidding. He could have four or five DWIs, a few sexual assaults and maybe throw in an attempted murder and still be playing.SilverStarCowboy said:It's a shame that alchohol is legal and pot isn't....or should I say scam?
Rack said:Shocking.
And to all the people that wanted Ricky Williams to be a Cowboys (especially the ones that STILL wanted him to be a cowboy after he went on his "Sebatical"), go hit yourselves on the head with a hammer.
That's National Champion Longhorn to you.:HeavyHitta31 said:Once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn

People act like RW is that anti-christ, yet Leonard Little is an after thought.
This was the smiley you should have used.jimmy40 said:That's National Champion Longhorn to you.:

abersonc said:It is a "sabbatical" Rack. Sabbaticals involve completion of major projects. Ricky just finished a "vacation"
I'm very sensitive regarding the term having just finished a sabbatical that was absolutely not a vacation.
I'm not buying the latter, Hos. He may indeed end up in Denver, but with only 2 weeks to go until that roster bonus, Denver knows that Philly will release him and there doesn't seem to be any other eager trading partners. I think they roll the dice and go after him in FA.Hostile said:In my opinion this cements Terrell Owens to Denver. They were rumored to be weighing one or the other but not both. Look for a trade to happen.

Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams' mother does not believe her son is smoking marijuana. His mother, Sandy, said her son is currently in India, and she has not spoken to him. She said she feels like she has spent enough time with her son to believe he no longer smokes. "I'll bet my life he's not smoking marijuana," Sandy Williams said Sunday night, Feb. 19. "He's so particular about what he puts in his body now. I would just be shocked. I just don't believe he's smoking weed. I'm thinking maybe it was one of his (legal) supplements for his yoga school. I really just don't believe he's smoking weed."
notherbob said:If he is indeed in India and straight and the problem is a missed test, he should be able to make it up, after all, pot stays in your system a long time and would still be detectable days or weeks later. There is an appeal process in the NFL and if he is straight, he should be exonerated. If he is sincere in his pursuit of an organic natural life, yoga, meditation and the legal uses of legal herbs and learning naturopathic and Ayervedic medicine and has remained straight, then the NFL is unreasonably restricting his rights and he is due some remedy from that. On the other hand if he has used a banned substance, he should be punished the same as everybody else.
I couldn't care less about Ricky Williams one way or another but he deserves to be treated fairly if he has changed and is indeed innocent, just like that recent Michael Irvin incident (Did he ever do a drug test on that? A clean one would have proven his story.)
