How does a team up 24 points in the second half end (playing at home) up passing 47 times? How? Only in Dallas could that happen. That should have been at least a 40 attempt rushing game for the Cowboys. The rushing attempts, alone, probably would have won the game. Long runs happen in the 4th quarter when teams get tired and desperate. The Cowboys were starting to open up some nice holes and cutback lanes, but Dallas abandoned the run with a big lead. Why? I guess so Tony Romo could play Tecmo Bowl.
Tecmo Bowl is not winning football.
Felix Jones had 155 total yards last week and had 115 yards rushing and one long run called back... After Romo's second pick six today, those holes and cutback lanes started to close, because the Lions had new life and were back in the game.
The Lions looked ready to be run all over, but the Cowboys got too pass happy with a big lead. Unacceptable, and the defensive coordinator can't be happy.
Buddy Ryan would be looking to punch an offensive coach in the face.
Yes, yes, and yes. Garrett and Romo **** the bed.
