***Rip on Romo Thread***

You do have many non-fans on our boards here, utrunner being just one.

Oh no, Dallas himself thinks I am not a fan, whatever will I do, clearly this means I am not a fan, the fact that I am upset the team lost in a pathetic way today means I am not a fan, dang it, I wish I could be a good little fan and not care like Hostile and the rest.

I am extremely upset with Romo. Well, upset with everyone on the team. But Romo just makes me give up on trying to understand this team. To just say, we need to move on or draft another QB lacks any logic. I wish it was that simple...it’s not. That road will be tougher than this one.

We are like that couple that is “stuck” with each other. You have Romo. You are “stuck” with him. The good and the horribly bad. Expecting joy will never happen for you. Your life will always be tortured with him.

Why is Dallas stuck with Romo? 2013 is his last yr under contract isnt it? Teams make transistions all the time. If an oppurtunity presents itself you can sure Jerry Jones would jump on it if it was good for the team. Usually by now we hear Jerry Jones defending Romo. havent heard anything yet. Im not saying its not coming, but Jerry is usually quick on that wagon.

Well, you got that part right. The question is, can people do it?
I don't know, what would be defined as acting like men?

I mean, I don't consider myself girly or anything. I guess I don't own any harley davidson motorcycles. I haven't fought in a war or anything. I suppose I've cried once in my life.

Wait a second, we're no longer men because we're voicing our displeasure of a loss on a forum? What?

You are better than this. I understand what you are saying, but saying this w/o any solution or option isn't fair. It's just dumping to dump.

BTW: The Bears would KILL to have Romo

And they still wouldn't win a superbowl so what would that net them? 20 years to Life!

Chilax, dude. I'm just expressing an opinion. Usually, it's a lovefest for Romo, especially when he wins games like he did against the 49ers and Commanders. You dare question whether he's a consistent quarterback, and you'll get shouted down in here. I'm just stating what I've observed.

I'm not bothered by people liking or disliking Romo or anyone on the Cowboys roster for that matter. I guess I'm past wearing my Cowbosy fandom on my sleeve.
No you didn't tyke. You accused this forum, in particular those who run it, of censorship. That's a flat out lie.

Look at all the misery and blame being expressed. Don't ever tell me it is censored. People are reveling in it for crying out loud. Lots of people are just as tired of that and have just as much right to speak up about that as those expressing their blame for Romo. So you chillax, dude.

I think our best solution is to draft a QB in the first or 2nd round. That way he doesn't have to start, he can learn the system and develop. Maybe...just maybe...that gets Romo to stop making these boneheaded moves. That...and I would do whatever it takes to get Romo to stop throwing to Witten on crucial drives. He always throws to him and teams know he's going there.

I think the organization needs to stop relying on the guy because he's many things...but reliable isn't one of them.

I think a better running game would do just that. I am sick of being pretty much an all pass team these past few years. Why can't you be balanced and win in this league?

With our defense, we should be able to protect 24 flippin pts w/o throwing the damn ball all over the place w/ Romo.

We need to run better.

Was he saying you are not a fan of the Cowboys or Hostile?

It's troubling to me that people around here feel the need to blame other posters for everything that goes wrong, and this comes from all sides of the argument. I'm not even sure who to blame, but I sure as hell know it isnt anyone here.

Heh.

Don't be so bothered that I knew someone was going to point to that Patriots game. Really, I didn't know it was going to be you, I just knew it was going to be someone.
Like I said, deny the facts and look silly. I don't give two hoots in hell about your little prediction. Come at me with a smug response like that and I will be smug back. Like I said.

Except that those complaining about the complainers are complaining about the complainers.

The complainers are complaining about the team. Big difference in my opinion. Why not leave the thought police and the entitled attitude of who is a fan and who isn't completely out of it?

Wait, it works both ways because I'm saying it now, right?

That was expected.

I bet if you go back and view Romo's int's maybe about 70% of them are trying to force it to witten. Good observation, didnt really think about it until i read your post.

I guess this is what a true forum meltdown looks like:eek:

Yeah, this is what happens when you go from the highest high watching your favorite team finally blowing somebody out and your assured of a big win, to the lowest low of the elevator crashing down from the top floor by losing in the end. This kind of game is beyond hurtful, frustrating, depressing, and speechless....it breeds of a board meltdown of epic proportions kinda like the failure of the game.

I don't want to defend Red but this is too easy. Everyone thought Jimmy Johnson was in over his head after his first year. Everyone thought the great coaching at GB was stupid for getting rid of Favre. Everyone thought Bellichic sucked after Cleveland.

Haha are u kidding? I'd say there is a pretty big difference between the talent level of the offense that Jimmy had that first season here vs. the talent that Ginger Tecmo Bowl has. It's a waste of talent if we have to keep waiting for him to figure out how to coach though. That's the real shame here. People are willing to fold in the season already. This team is capable of winning 11 games with the schedule it has.

Who's blaming a poster for the loss? Can you point that out? I need a laugh.

No disrespect to anyone.....But DAMN, that was funny. Lord knows I need something to make me laugh. :laugh2:
Why would I feel disrespected? I'd have to care about the opinions first.

Hey if a real option presents itself. Winning QBs don’t grow on trees as Parcells would say. Romo is who he is. I don’t think he is able to change. I don’t think Kitna or McGee is the answer. I am open to change for the better not for the worse. This feels pretty bad right now.

well we went 54 or so pages where we discussed romo with virtually no drama...hostile comes in the thread and the fighting between posters ensued...
