It does give them depth, though. Helps when you need fresh bodies throughout the game so your DL doesn't wear out.
Lol Davis has been pretty dominant when he’s in there on odd man fronts. You know we are allowed to look realistically at our opponents…

The Eagles are giving up 3 yards a run when he's in the game. I don't want to defend an Eagles but everything I'm hearing is this guy is the next star NT in the league
Where did you get the 3 ypc when he is in the game stat? I have seen a bunch of big runs when he is in the game.

That would mean, if it were accurate- which there is no way, they are giving up like 5.5 ypc when he isnt in the game.

This is a move to counter what we just did.

Different spot on DLine, but same thing - shores up a weakness, older, not having a great year, cap cut, feels misused in new system.

Philly the team to beat. Hope our Boys are up for it.
It’s got nothing to do with what we did. It was pretty obvious they could use another DE…… I was pretty sure they were going to trade for either a safety or a DE… with de being the more likely one.

Lol. It’s great move for the eagles. Bears are even paying most of his remaining 2022 salary LOL

Can't say it's a bad move. But I can say I don't know how much it will help. He hasn't exactly been great this year. Maybe playing for a better team will cause him to play better, though. I hope not.

Do you need me to find that article too? I'm just at an age where I can be realistic. Everything I've read and heard is this guys a star and we'd all be ecstatic to have a giant NT on our team. He's gonna be really good for his position but I just don't think NTs are overly important like others do. He's the exact type of player we need. They don't show up on the stat sheet but they swallow up OLineman and let your LBers run free to make plays. Now enough of sticking up for the Eagles because I think their DLine, given their age, is average.

Yes, i agree with you. He IS the exact plyer we need but if you listen to Eagles fans...he is the second coming of Reggie White.

He is a solid to good NT....not the most dominant force in the NFL. He also is not worth the 13th pick in the draft. I honestly wouldn't have loved him with our pick in the first either. Tyler AND Sam are both better and more impactful players, IMO.

I hope not as well. Looking at his history he has the widest range of sacks I’ve ever seen.

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that trolls from other fanbases are allowed to come here and say whatever they want about our team, I don’t remember asking to read their worthless opinion on the Cowboys.

I’ll never lose one second of my day on an Eagles forum since I’m intelligent enough to know it’s not my place and I have no interest being there in the first place, looks like some undesirable clowns in here have way too much time on their hands.

Aero and CPanther and the gnat fan (that came here) I can deal with, they talk football and very knowledgeable about it but this dreamsickle or whoever is a different animal I can tell, they are here to troll and that is it.

Cowboys traded for the same guy a few years ago when he was a better player for only a 6th round pick. And then got a 4th round compensatory pick when Quinn left for the Bears.

True and that was a good deal, but how does he manage to pry these players off other teams who would seem to have a market. He always seems to get what he wants and never overpays

Agree with deliberate trolling (we can do enough of that ourselves, without the input from other teams). But there's nothing wrong with a discussion, on, ......

Eagles need a DE,
Quinn helps the Eagles pass-rush,
Cowboys dont need a DE (especially a pass-rusher)
Gives the Cowboys help, in identifying a rush option to attack Quinn's END on the ground.
Eagles CAP isnt really impact in 2022....however there seems to be potential Dead Money (CAP Bonus element) even though there's no Guaranteed Money in 2023).
Eagles are all-in 2022 (check out the FA's and limited CAP they have in 23 and 24), we have 'stumbled' on a decent side (with manageable CAP from 2023...with bonus heavy contracts next season). Not really a comparative time-line.

However, i'm glad this thread hasnt gone ....."end of the world, Eagles have signed a name I recognised, we should of got him, why dont we go all-in, Jones dont care, 26 years"

the Iggles are 1 injury away from being average. If Hurts gets dinged or injured bad, they will struggle. Its a very long season. We have been tested by fire already. They haven't. In fact, their schedule is easy. I bet ya the steelers beat them this week.
