Yeah I'm using the word beast loosely but that guy can run.


He's big, fast, has vision, and just runs with tenacity.

That's the kind of guy I want to bring into a game against a tired defense. Someone that is that big and runs like his job depends on it.

He's a football player.



Also, that Nwachaku is a football player too. He's different from the type of WRs we have here.

I agree. smith is a great preseason player. I just do not see him doing great against starting nfl lineman and backers. he does not have a good first step to beat quality lineman. I think he makes the team if Elliott is not on the active roster but when he returns smith will be released.

Ronnie Hillman and Alfred Morris both have had quality seasons in this league and neither has looked as good as Smith this pre-season.

He wouldn't be in position to as RB3. He'll make it on STs and on his versatility, since that's what we want in that role to begin with.

Morris will be cut when Elliott is back, since he's so limited in the passing game and gives you nothing on Teams.

I think we go thin at WR. One of our top 7 WRs will make it to the PS. Since 6 and 7 are about equal, it barely matters which.

We had three RBs average more than 5 yards per carry even without Elliot playing. That's a good sign, especially for my fervent desire to pound the Giants in Week 1 as punishment for Mara orchestrating the Zeke suspension.

He is beast against backups. He is a decent player with upside against starters.

Yeah I see a lot of people talking about cut McFadden in favor of him. I like Smith's game. But let's put things in perspective here.....he was playing against backups. Backups inferior to even him who's a 3rd or 4th string guy here.

He works hard and he runs just as hard. I'm rooting for him. I think being able to play fullback as well probably assures he has a position on this team since he can play special teams as well. But he did what he was suppose to do against inferior competition. Run all over them.
