Agreed, but if DMC sees a defender headed straight for our franchise QB, should he not at least chuck the guy? He let him run unabated to Dak. Losing Zeke for 6 games is one thing but if Dak goes down we're screwed.

I think he makes the team over Keith Smith, both can play ST and FB but Rod Smith gives you much more as a RB.

its kind of clear he was suppose to block before leaking out. Look at his route. He sort of chips the guy the RT is blocking. If that was him running a route that was a very poor route. He missed the block. I rather go with Morris and Smith. Mcfadden is a ok runner but he will leave alot of meat on the bone.

He doesn't chip the DE, the defender makes contact with DMC.

Criticizing him for a play where you don't know his responsibility is silly.

Sometimes blitzers are let free and it's Dak's responsibility to recognize it and get it out hot. Which he did.
