Well, I guess we disagree to some extent. I don't believe, for me, that Romos emergence is the same as Daks but that's a whole nuther discussion.
Sigh. I didn't mean that Romo's emergence was equivalent to Dak's. I meant his emergence as a franchise QB with so many failures in finding one after Aikman was felt as the start of a new era of promise for the franchise, i.e., meaning winning.

Monday morning quarterback clubs are even older than the burn barrel buddy bunch that blames everything on the owner, head coach, and quarterback...always in that order too.

Nope. Not even close this time. A guy that wouldn't have Gregory or McClain if he actually had a choice. Two guy that put us in a huge position on our defense of trusting players that have issues.
Sorry, I was meaning to be sarcastic.

They are stuck with Garrett and that crap defense, just like Romo was.

Garrett will NEVER get us there.

The good news for our crap defense is that we're already set to add to it with Jaylon Smith. If Dallas doesn't focus this offseason on turning it into a strength, though, I'll be ready to get out the pitchforks.

After a night to sleep on it, I do want to give some credit to Green Bay. Rodgers is a future Hall-of-Famer and he has played like it down the stretch. We certainly needed to be better defensively, especially with Nelson out, but some credit has to go to that offense.

Eh. Who cares? This is a franchise that has been to 15 NFC championship games and eight SBs winning five of them that hasn't won anything of relevance in 21 years. It's a non-starter to me that people are thinking that this comment is special. The "beginning of the Cowboys." Give me a break.
Being 8-7 in NFC championship games and losing 3 SBs and losing two NFL championship games before the SB era began is great consistency, but folks forget our team lost and lost and lost with great teams before winning. Until the 90's run, our greatest Cowboys team with the Doomsday defense went 2-3 in Super Bowls. It's not easy.

There still should be a sense of urgency. Zeke won't see a second contract here, as he may be used/beat up by then.

I hope Witten comes back and either Rico or a TE in draft is added. Someone who can stretch field. Also needed are 2 DEs a LB, Corner, Safety, and WR2 if Williams goes.

I don't get why people think a great pass rush would stop Rodgers when he's in the zone. Don't you think he's faced great DEs and all out blitzes year after year? The Giants D is twice as good as ours and he totally dismantled them.

We lost a close playoff game. Divisional rounds are supposed to pit great teams against each other. The last team with the ball won. In the fourth quarter, we erased GBs 15 point lead. They took the lead again, and we tied again. One great play by them that was a horrible play for us resulted in a loss. It was a great game. The great Bellichec and Brady went 18-0 and lost similarly in a close Super Bowl to the wild card Giants.

Some fans act like we came out and laid an egg against the Browns.

I think Rodgers was directly quoting Joe Montana's comments to Dan Marino after SB XIX. That's the rumor anyway.

What did Montana say to Marino? Or is this I joke I dont get?

Also, the title of this thread is "Rodgers Comment To Dak After Game" but I didn't see any quote from Rodgers to Dak anywhere, did I miss it or was that a typo?

Boy, I'm not worth a **** today am I? Sorry fellas (& ladies), I'm still verklempt
