1. The initial title card just says “Rogue One” with no subtitle of “a Star Wars story”

2. There is no blast of iconic John Williams intro music upon showing the logo

3. There is no screen crawl!

4. “It’s a rebellion, I rebel” line gets cut

5. Jyn resetting the satellite scene as a Tie fighter rises up scene gets cut

6. Krennic walking on the beach with cape flowing behind him scene gets cut

7. Death Troopers picking up a Stormtrooper doll. Classic.

8. Saw Gerrera’s “What will you do when they come for you?” “What will you do when they break you” lines get cut.

Huge variety of extras, cultures, races, planets, ships, weapons, costumes, troopers et al.

Easily overlooked or forgotten:

· Lots of call backs and references

· All the freaking races and cultural groups on Jedha

· Warwick Davis playing a short bald alien with a blaster called “Weeteef Cyubee”

· All the random ships

· Vader cutting the guy on the ceiling in half.

· Saw Gerrera uses some kind of mind torture alien?

Add in that Red Leader and Gold Leader were played by the original actors from ANH. And now we see why Luke was assigned Red 5. There were a ton of little nods here and there.

So it turns out Tarkin and Leia were cgi'd on top of base actors.
It was so easy to see you catch it right away.


Vader is a complete menace.
More should be done there.
Another Star Wars story, I think it's in the works.

Everyone has latched on this "rehashe ep 4" and is running with it .... inaccurately.


While they stole some things. Droid message and Death Star blow up thingy (which I HAAAAATTTED) It was not the same story.

There is no way of knowing, yet, if it was a ANH rehash. I think it will take turns. I'm positive.

Rey has a backstory choc full of stuff unlike young Luke.
Finn is a wildcard.
Kylo has a story unlike ANH.
Snoke has a backstory unlike ANH character.



There's much more in store for this trilogy.

Alot of people bagging on Kylo because he isnt " menacing" or " he's emo". I dont think he is supposed to be the new Darth Vader, which it seems many assumed. He is a massive wildcard and unstablizes the story making it more difficult to guess what is going to happen

Yeah... they brought back Darth Maul because the regretted killing him off so soon. Instead of mechanical lower half he should have been cloned. But... whatever lol

Yes, Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc Pitt in ROTJ. They always regretted his wimpy, wimpy, wimpy death... for such a hefty, hefty, hefty character. Lol


There is buzz that Mace Windu survived and became a bounty hunter.

2. He can pull/drag you to him from 15ft? And probably force choke you on the way lol
3. Even severely wounded he fought off two able bodied, inexperienced yes, light saber wielders.

Anakin was young inexperienced and grew into Vader. "There's always hope"

It is very well understood that the prequels will not have any real significance in this trilogy.
The only exception is Plagueis because he was never technically on prequels. Just spoken of.

For me, if they make him a new character just for the sake of not being Snoke. I won't like it. But I'll live.
