Romo and Dez

Remember Marty B. praising Kitna? He said that Romo would not get him the ball like Kitna did. And when Romo did throw to him or trust him, he drops the ball. Now where is he?

However, it seens that the players Romo does trust, they will get the ball.

If Dez needs a different QB, then he's dumber than I thought!

Funny thing is that Romo got Marty the ball 14 times in 5 and a quarter games. Kitna got it to him 17 times in 9 games

See...this is one thing I don't like about you!

You get all mathematical and stuff.

Please...don't post stuff that I have to do math, or what not.

I don't care about ypc. Show me the targets. Dez and miles should both have more targets. Period

They will...just wait and see.

I agree they need to give Dez a couple more jump balls a game similar to the one Austin took to the house couple weeks ago.

Because every football expert knows, basing your game plan on the jump ball is the only way to win in this league.

You are totally confusing being covered with running your route. There is a HUGE difference.

No it isn't! You push button A and hold it down until he is way down field and then push button B repeatedly. Don't you follow football?

:D

I said a few more a game not base a game around it. No need to be a d-bag.

Dez may have been his most productive when Kitna took over for an injured Romo in 2010. Dez had a 7 and a 9 catch game in back to back weeks and followed that with the only 100 yard game of his career.

I've been thinking that for awhile now and I'm a big Romo supporter but i want you guys opinions...

Is Tony Romo the right QB to maximize Dez potential with what he already knows? Because even not knowing the playbook as far the whole route tree goes and recognition of coverages ( as far as I'm concerned it is what it is right now)...Think about when Kitna was palying with Dez, Kitna would still throw balls up to Dez and gave him a chance to make a play doubled or not allah Eli Manning who does throw those types of balls quite frequently and gives his receiver a chance to make a play...Maybe I'm wrong and over analyzing this, but have anybody else thought about it this way?
Tony Romo is a damn-good QB and always has been.
That said, he seems- a little more than most QBs; for better or worse- to be big on the trust and chemistry he has with a guy in order to look his way.
It's obvious in the number of targets he shoots to Witten. Then Austin. And even O-Tree seems to have Romo's connection as Tony supposedly pulled for him to be the 3rd WR.
It appears to me that he and Dez just don't have that chemistry/aren't on the same page... off the field...
yet.

Instead of Romo accommodating Dez to greatness, how about Dez accommodating romo to whatever he wants and whatever routes the QB chooses? Dez be the minor player who should pay his dues and Romo be the man with the plan and the juice, yo.

Who's gonna get crushed in the media for failing? I pray Romo doesn't think as petty as some of you. Get him the ball. Broadus said Seattle played 8 in the box single high safety. Dez couldn't go deep because he was covered? Pathetic on Romos part.

Ah dont rightly know what to say to your candor.
I half been silenced by your logic and stuff.

Romo didnt have the time in the pocket to go deep. It looked to me like they were packing everything in close, every time Romo wanted to drop back to go deep he was forced to get rid of it quick.

Please. Do some ****ing work on your own to make a point.

You've made ridiculous claims that are just plain wrong.

Support what you want to say or just concede.

I can summarize Dez Bryants day in Seattle in 5 words:

Drop, Drop, Muff, Fumble, Drop

Go watch you DVR and you will see what I mean.

Seems like another...blame Romo...but really not blaming him, let's blame Dez...thread....:laugh2:

How about Witten's day too? The whole team had a bad day.. no need to just blame Dez. Keep in mind Dez RARELY drops balls.

Yep, 4 in 2 years.

How many jump balls should we throw? By definition a jump ball is anyone's ball. I may be a d-bag, but I don't propose stupidity.

I've been wondering about the this myself... Romo seems more comfortable with Robinson, Holley, Ogletree , than he does with Dez Bryant.

I always felt the same about Martellus Bennett.
