Couldn't agree more.

Vaughan just hasn't showed anything. I would hate to give up on talent too early but i haven't seen anything to justify a roster spot.

I really can't picture the powers that be deciding to retain him this year. I think they'd be better off acquiring a #3 QB from another team's cuts than to retain him on either the active roster or the practice squad. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they finally decide to go with only two, though.

And to think some folks here were talking about giving up on T-Will. What a mistake that would be!

Get the feeling that Williams isn't a player we're going to give up on, but I also get the feeling he's a player we're unlikely to resign after this deal is up.

I don't get that feeling at all . . . he's doing nothing but getting better each year. This is no time to quit on him.

The same thing occurred to me during the game. I think that'd be too good to be true, though.

i know i misspelled his name on purpose ..but he did look good out there.

what was even more crazy was he actually looks like Dustin in the face.

One thing to remember is that Terrence Williams grew up a Cowboys fan. He actually wrote a letter saying he wanted to be a star alongside Dez Bryant for the Dallas Cowboys. He strikes me as a person who might take a bit of a discount to keep playing for his childhood team which was his dream.

The problem is if he continues to improve I doubt we would spend the money to resign him with Dez and Beasely already locked up for a few years. If he doesn't continue to improve then I doubt we want to resign him. So he's someone that I think plays out his current deal and then likely moves on, unless he's willing to take a hometown discount, which I wouldn't expect any player to ever take because its stupid for them to.

I have zero worries about McFadden being able to produce behind this line IF he can stay healthy.
But that IS the question...and a legit one.

Can't wait to see!

I'm waiting for the board to go from saying the guy completely sucks to acting like they always thought he was good but he may get hurt.

I see what you're getting at but I'm thinking he will continue to improve and teams simply don't rid themselves of valuable players like that unlesss they're extremely foolish. Hopefully, that's not what we are or will become. I'm just hoping we'll see fit to retain those who deserve it. We'll see.

Could be some serious crow if he holds up.
You know he's pumped finally playing on a teams with a line and a passing game for the first time in his career.

Just has to hold up physically:hammer:

I'd like to think you're right -- but I'd also like to think we'd be willing to spend just enough to keep our best WRs. Anyhow, if he's that excited about playing for the Cowboys, maybe a cost-friendly deal wouldn't be a total impossibility.

For those pounding their chests after McFadden's performance, the question with him has always been his durability and remaining healthy game in and game out; unfortunately, he has been very prone to injury. Not his speed or ability to find the hole--------that's a given, he was a #1 pick. And he only had 4 carries for crying out loud.

So hold the anointing oil til we see how it goes in the REAL games. Maybe he can shock us like Murray did last year and make it through the season.
