Romo Calls TO the best teamate!

Would you have laughed if Aikman had done the chicken dance after a QB sneak?

I never had to worry about that since Troy was a hardnosed player who got excitment from the game itself and not the other BS. I have a passion for the game of football some of that other stuff has nothing to do with Football.

ZZZZZ... The haters just can't stay out of a positive thread. Thus I will continue to make sure I support in the negative ones.

Torn tendons are the same as jammed fingers and sprained ankles..... :lmao2:

Thanks for the laughs Joe Rod.

Haters? What ever Jock sniffer. I have no doubt that if TO was on another team you would not be sucking on him as much as you do now.

What fun is starting a thread if it's all love and roses? He would have dropped those balls with or without those issues. He is buttery for his career.
:laugh2:

Given your conviction, I may change my sig to include you as the charter member of the T.O. man love club though!

How Irvin's after touchdown "Strut"? No one played with more fire!;)

You haters are truly pathetic. your hate is so deeply rooted that it blinds you from any ability to enjoy anything remotely related to TO. It's quite sad actually. You won't be enjoying much this upcoming year when Romo and TO, under the guidance of Jason Garrett, are burning up the field. You won't have many happy moments. Theres' nothing for you to look forward to. Sell your tvs now.

Im not a fan of TO....

But I see nothing wrong in his actions and play this year....I've watched Irvin drop some easy passes in his career......that sort of stuff happens in the NFL.

And to not take in account of the injury in his hands affecting his catching is just wrong.

IMHO....TO is what he is....from past experiences I expected worse in the lockerroom.....what transpired this season was surprisely good. Its the media that makes its so much worse....its the media digging...questioning...frabicating....stuff to get a story.

Overall....TO made this team better.....he opened up the offence.....and his lockerroom presence didn't cause any distractions.....teammates...the majority of them I believe really like him.

TO wasnt a problem here...

I would probably get some pleasure from watching the other players. Can I keep my TV?

And if never cost Dallas 15 yards. You don't seem to get it, as long as it does not hurt the team I have no problem with it. I do not watch the game of football because of celebrations I watch it because of the game itselfs. I love the game of Football the other stuff means nothing to me.

You have no clue as to what your talking about. If you love TO great not everyone has a crush on him like you do. I don't watch Cowboys football because of TO and find no entertainment in dumb remarks he tends to make. As for him producing I hope he does as long as he is a member of this team I expect him to produce after all Jerry is not spending Millions on this idiot because of his PR skills

Sure. Just be sure to turn your head when Romo hits TO for the big TDs next year. Plan on turning your head about twenty times. Wear a neck brace.

Terrell Owens isn't the Dallas Cowboys.

Terrell Owens is a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

If he wanted to allow his ability as a premier wide receiver to solely entertain fans of the Dallas Cowboys, he could do so, but he can't. He cannot will himself to do so. He is the largest attention hog who has ever graced this roster--and that's in consideration of several others who have enjoyed the "ME! ME!" attention spotlight also. And the margin between himself and his predecessors isn't even close.

Owens will not spoil our enjoyment of the best franchise in the National Football League. He is simply a momentary stomach ulcer who, hopefully, will fulfill his contract and help this team win a championship before exiting stage left. Nothing more. Nothing less.

zzzzz

What you, and every other hater, fail to realize is I appreciate what he brings to the team. I'm not driven nor an I influenced by any agendas. Call it love. Call it jock sniffing. Call it whatever you'd like. To me it is simply an appreciation and understanding for the difference he makes just by lining up opposite our other star WR. ;) Defenses spend long hours trying to figure out how to stop our offense. TO effects what defenses can and will do in many many ways. Thankfully we will be the beneficiaries of a more improved, more dynamic offense next year. TO's coming out party with the Boys will happen in 07. Just be sure to look when those TDs are scored. That'll be about 20 look aways. Don't hurt your necks.

Just be sure to look away about 20 times next year.

Sure thing. Be sure to have enough pre-prepared excuses for Owens totally unnecessary behavior ready by the opening game this preseason. Make Kim Etheredge proud. :)

As I said I expect him to go out and perform but unlike you I'm not going to sit there and turn a blind eye to things I think are wrong. Heck I hope he score 20 TD because as I mentioned he was not brought here for PR ability or is idiotic statements or any other such non-sense he seems to be constantly involved with.

Some of us aren't hypocrits, we bashed TO for running his mouth in SF and Philly and we bash him for running his mouth now. we didn't start defending him just because he became a Cowboy.

I'm not a hypocrit either. I really had no opinion of him in SF because I didn't really pay that much attention to SF.

I noticed a little more while he was in Philly since we both are in the NFC East, but I am no McNabb fan so I sort of sided with Owens during that mess.

I saw his reactions to a couple of real life situations and sort of admired his response to them, so not knowing much about him I kind of liked him a little, from a distance.

Then he signed with Dallas so I wiped the slate clean and waited.

He hasn't done anything that amounts to anything while here so I am still OK with him. Minus a few of the drops of course.

So I'm not being a hypocrit defending him.

if you want to call me a TO hater I'm perfectly fine with that.

I won't call anyone anything, but if the shoe fits.

What are Romo's options? He could...

1. Not say anything about Owens and alienate Owens in his own mind. That course of action could prompt Owens to speculate to the media that Romo and Carrie Underwood don't mesh well intimately. He's made comments like those in the past about quarterbacks who haven't met his standards. Or Romo could...

2. Make neutrally sounding comments about him which doesn't elevate Owens 'statute' as a player above him. A similar circumstance happened during his stop in Philadelphia. I, for one, would not like to see another repeat of "weight room session with media coverage in a driveway" anytime soon. Or Romo could...

3. Gush about Owens to the media at every possible opportunity.

My money's on number three. Keeping his number one receiving threat happy 365/24/7 should be one of his top priorities as this team's starting quarterback. Not doing so backfired for quarterbacks at his last two stops. Why keep repeating the same mistake?

hahaha its always a conspiracy.

Man dude what are you talking about?

We've had several players that have got as much attention to him and its kinda hard to control what the media puts on television.

Conspiracy? Who brought up 'conspiracy'? A conspiracy involves "acting upon some sinister design". There isn't anything sinister which can be discovered within Romo's comments. #3 is his only option...

...unless there are some who actually believe that he can, during Owens' entire stay with the team, remain silent or make neutral sounding comments about Owens. To those who hold true to that frame of thought I say good luck with that, but Romo's an intelligent young man who doesn't appear to have a brash ego which would permit him to make the same mistakes as Owens' former QBs.
