He didn't fully embrace the dark side but he did give in to his rage to defeat his father. In the EU books, this has been touched upon as well as another time he went to the dark side in order to free his Wife, Mara. However the EU is no longer considered canon. That only leaves the one time where he gave into his rage to defeat Vader. As far as the Jedi our concerned, that is going down the path to the dark side.

i dunno how this thread all of a sudden became a Star Wars thread but seriously keep it going. im so down for this to become a star wars discussion thread lol

Was just thinking that...might as well have....full skeletal body replacement...Tony Terminator, or Robo Tony....broken bones an issue with him, no soft tissues. well the herniated disk, but if better bones, it may not have happened....

Well if we're goin in that direction, a little adamantium infusion would do a ton of good. Wolveromo?

I was thinking the same. Insert steel rods / plates wherever the possibility of injury exists.

Let's make Romo the $6,000,000 man.

I was thinking Lexan Bubble Wrap for his football suit.

They designed a new helmet for Lee.

What the heck.

Time to be more Romo-Friendly.

Jerrah can afford it and if he is to last till the end of his contract..

small investment.

I third the adamantium recommendation. Very painful bonding process and magnets could pose a problem, but I hear it worked great for a CFL player.

I was thinking some kind of side-impact airbag underneath his left shoulder pad. Would make me feel better, but then again, what do I know??

What's it going to be then, eh?

Or a surgically embedded spring in the armpit so when he goes down..

Bong.

(grin)

Whatever.

There has to be some sort of additional protection available.

I was really sort of shocked when it was announced the second time around they were only adding a thin padding under his jersey wjen he returned.

How do you do that knowing another injury would end his and the team's season.? And think it is like the 3rd shoulder injury for him so this is chronic and maybe career theatening.

So therefore the plate they are considering.

To me it ranks right up there to the deal where the Commanders sent RGIII back out to play after tearing up his knee.

The Commanders had a meltdown..drawing enormous criticism to the HC and team.

For us..?

Nobody likes us or Romo and to most of the rest of the NFL..

we deserve it.

Double standard?

Nah.

Just the ol' Cowboy hatred.

The goal is to have the bone in proper position and alignment in order to facilitate complete union.

The inherent problem with clavicles is that you don" get end-to-end approximation without surgery. Instead, there is what we call bayonet apposition -- an overlapping of the fractured bone ends, which can heal even thicker than the original, but which are subject to movement during the healing process, even with breathing.

So, complete immobilization is always the goal in order to get complete healing , but it's difficult to achieve in an athlete's clavicle without surgery, if the player is trying to get back on the field ASAP.

For the average patient, the fracture will heal adequately over 2-3 months without surgery, and could do so in the offseason.

What an awesome explanation. I love stuff like that. I hate to be a pain in the neck (pun intended) but now my question is it seems obvious that complete immobilization is unrealistic with out the surgery because he's already throwing the ball around in pre game warmups.

Therefore is the surgery being considered to protect Tony from Tony?

I'm not so sure it matters what he does this offseason. I'm pretty sure next year will be his last. His body can't do it anymore.
