Romo Drama Brewing

Romo does have a thing for hot blondes...so fitting the source is Slater.

Makes me think this might be from Romo, trying to force something to happen here. Which I hate if true, but in the same thought, can't really blame the guy.

The assertion that everyone turned their back on Romo is absurd. Romo is getting Bradied, Bledsoed, etc etc. It's what happens to aging, injury-prone players. It's nothing personal unless you take it upon yourself to make it personal.

It is when you can perform better than the guy who took over.

Bledsoe couldnt do that.

I suspect that Romo's two agents are trying to stir up some "smoke" to start a media fire where there is none. Tony has been very quiet and non-involved for the most part. Until I see a Tony tweet or video, I believe none of this bunk.

It could be Romo's agents or it could be the media scrambling to make news where there is no news. Either way, I honestly don't care. If the Cowboys play there cards right, they will be fielding calls in Preseason when a starter gets hurt. If Romo doesn't understand that; that is his problem.

eh im ready to move on, release him, have him get signed by the texans, then he gets hit once in preseason and career over. time to move on. thanks for your years of service tony but see ya later.

This is a bunch of crap. I'm a Romo fan and I'm probably just looking at it from his side but the media is making it look like he's the problem. He doesn't like Garrett and Dak anymore. I know he isn't super happy about everything. I know he wants to play. Stephen and Jerry are screwing this up too. The stories always begin with what Romo wants. Romo has stopped talking to certain players and Romo this and Romo that. It just feels like the stories all point the finger at him.

I was inferring if the rumours are true about him not talking to anyone who was pro Dak last year. Leave my barber out of this.
So rumors about Romo distancing himself from former coworkers. That's what you want him to shut up about?

Ok buddy.

Im sorry was he released? No? So they arent FORMER co-workers yet. So yes, he should have kept his mouth shut instead of going on Instagram and saying goodbye to everyone before he anything was formalized. Ok buddy? Cool

the one constant that has always come up throughout his career with these stories is tony. its been locker room is divided one side tony and other side insert player name. where there is smoke there is fire. im more willing to believe that Tony is being a little cold towards people that supported Dak, which we have seen and heard as much even with Garrett, than i am willing to believe a mass dallas media conspiracy going after tony that is coming out of nowhere. he probably is butt hurt/betrayed that people could turn on him so quickly, its human nature. with that said if it is becoming a problem jerry needs to cut bait and thats probably what tony wants.

Yeah, somebody said it on the internet...

It's on the internet, so it must be true. I'm a French model.

If you're upset about the two big communications Romo has made in this saga (one to media naming Dak the starter and his farewell thank you post) well let's just agree to disagree because you wouldn't know class if it slapped you in the face.

Just let him compete for the starting job! I mean if you aren't dying to recoup the cap space- what's the issue? If he wins it- great- better for us, if he loses, great nothing ventured nothing gained.

Team has really handled this badly
Yes they have, since as far back as mid-to-late October when Romo was cleared medically healthy to return as the starter. The latest tweets' legitimacy is another subject altogether though. Even so, any real or manufactured drama has been entirely predictable from as far back as October to as recent as his reading of The Statement in mid-November.
