Romo Drama Brewing

People seem really eager to declare Romo a dirtbag based on the flimsiest of pretexts.

There is no evidence that he's making demands, or pouting, or trying to screw over the Cowboys, or being a big pee-pants baby about his ~feelings~. Unsourced twitter rumors aren't evidence, they're just a dude tellling another dude something that they won't stand behind because they're a coward or a liar. There's nothing there.

Telling Romo to "shut up" is so dumb because he's hardly said a dang thing, and what he has said is what he's supposed to say.

You can convince me a lot about Romo.

You can convince me he tries to do to much in big games and makes mistakes.

You can convince me he is so competitive that he is unable to realize his body is done.

But ........ you CANNOT convince me that Tony Romo would cause drama and or single teammates out who supported Dak.

Romo is all class and wold not do that to this organization that has made him a millionaire and that he loves.

Didn't Jerry Jones and Tony Romo have a sit down and talk about every possible scenario ?

I have no issue with the team holding on to him right now. The ONLY thing it may hurt is Tony's feelings - but, while he may be annoyed and want to move on from it all, he's also smart and understand the predicament. Cutting him and letting him make it to Washington somehow would be disastrous. He definitely wants to play. You never know if Washington is waiting for this ball to drop to trade Cousins and sign Romo. There isn't ANY team-oriented incentive to cut him right now.

This is nothing but dry ice being placed in water. You assume there is a fire based on the boil...context here is extremely important.

I suspect that Romo's two agents are trying to stir up some "smoke" to start a media fire where there is none. Tony has been very quiet and non-involved for the most part. Until I see a Tony tweet or video, I believe none of this bunk.

Well, if you were told you are getting cut and then it was reneged upon, most in his position would take it personally. Even the swell guys like Romo.
You are assuming he was told he was getting cut. You have no solid source saying that, just the BS of the fake news propaganda propagators that suck you fools in that listen to that BS ever single time they spew there gossip-girl style lies. Bill "the Tuna" Parcells said it best... "consider yourself sucked". If he was told he was getting cut, you most certainly have a point. BUT first he would have had to have been told that and you are most certainly willing to make the fools leap that was told to Tony because why?.... "sources say" but who dat? Wise up, you've been played, lied to, bamboozled, cheated and deceived.

Who is saying it is a "fact"? It is the only evidence that is around, accurate or even fabricated, that it is capable of forming an opinion around.

I guess I could sit around and expect a blow by blow factual timeline on this, but I am not going to hold my breath.

But in your mind the more rational decision is to jump to conclusions based on no evidence? And to "LOL" at those that do require actual evidence before doing the same?

if any of this is true, then my post about his Instagram video about deals isn't so far fetched anymore.

Potentially:

Me: 1
Everyone else: 0

What exactly has Romo done to run his mouth?

Last year he publicly and privately supported Dak. This offseason he thanked the Cowboys and fans for support. And he's said nothing else. Unless you heard differently from your Barber...
I was inferring if the rumours are true about him not talking to anyone who was pro Dak last year. Leave my barber out of this.

I wish they'd just release him and rid themselves of all this drama, either real or fake. We all know he's not going to get a chance to win his job back, and we know he's not going to stay as a backup. Just get it over with already. All this for an extra 4th?

If this rumor is true, then I think the surprise isn't so much that he's mad about not being released, I think its more of a surprise that he cut off teammates and coaches that he thought were "pro-Dak". I don't want to believe that's true.

Just let him compete for the starting job! I mean if you aren't dying to recoup the cap space- what's the issue? If he wins it- great- better for us, if he loses, great nothing ventured nothing gained.

Team has really handled this badly

Yes.
On April 7, two days before the new official season began, they had a sit down.
Afterwards, Jerry said that Romo told him he wasn't asking him to rush to make a move.
That they both had a high tolerance for ambiguity.

This was when most "sources" out there were telling everyone (including Jane Slater) that Romo for sure would be released on April 9
