I think it's to this board's credit that the mods are slow to drop the ban hammer... they only seem to use that on the most egregious offenders (and if you'll notice, this one got the treatment before too long)...

Of course it is... and if he's a Cowboys fan, I'm the favorite to win the downhill in the Olympics...

Rather than let him piss you off, you should learn to have fun abusing him... it can be quite therapeutic... :D
You are absolutely right, SB. I know that other boards are not nearly as tolerant of stupid posters as this one, and that is to the credit of those who run it.

Wonder what kind of rock he'll be when he comes back??

LOL...

I'm with you Sliverbear.....I like abusing these trolls. Why ban them? Just bury them!

Instead of banning them we should just have the mods change their usernames to something that properly identifies them.

This one should be skinsrocklastplace or maybe skinssuckbigfathorserock.

Drew Brees had one of the greatest season ever for an NFL quarterback.

In 5 games against Super Bowl winning QBs, including 3 straight sure fire hall of fame qbs in the playoffs, Drew Brees went 5-0 (NFL record), the Saints outscored those opponents by an average of 38.6 to 20.6. Drew Brees combined stats for those games were:

113 completions
155 attempts
72.9% completion pct.
1472 yards
9.5 ypa
17 touchdowns
0 interceptions
139.0 rating

With a starting record of 16-2 (he did not play in the Carolina season finale), a regular season high QB rating of 109 and a playoff QB rating of 117, and the fact he beat every one of those 5 Qbs listed this year, its hard to say that any QB has had a better season than Drew Brees.

Now turning to career playoff numbers, the stat line is just as amazing:

Career playoff qb ratings of the all time greats that have won super bowls :

(Rounded to the near number)
1. Starr 105
2. Brees 104 (13 TDs, 2 Ints)
3. Warner 102
4. Montana 95
5. Aikman 88
6. Manning 88

Yeah. Romo is almost as good.

I'd let them keep their user names, but I do think it's funny when moderators change a posters tag or sigpic when they get out of line. I understand and respect why CZ chooses not to do that, but it's still funny.

to be even close to as good as the two QB's we saw last night. I am not saying he will not someday be an elite QB, but Brees and Manning are miles ahead of Tony as far as QB's go. I am hoping he watched last night and telling himself he can be that good, just need to continue to work hard.

And do talk about OL, when the Saints blitzed, take away the one key INT, Manning burned them again and again. So, strong OL or not, Tony needs to make start seeing the game better, stop rushing everything, settle down a bit. If you watched the two last night you know what I mean. Even when hurried or rushed, those two looked calm most of the time. Tony looks like he is running for his life and throws too early or just panics and throws bad passes way to often.

I am NOT knocking Tony. I was pro Romo when we got him, I just think he needs to take it up a notch. That and our level of talent should make us a serious SB contender next year.

Yes cause we all know we have a JaMarcus Russell on our hands.... Many teams would kill for a Tony Romo on their roster. You just need to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the football.

It's funny as hell. But I'm only suggesting a forced name change as a prelude to a banning.

If you come on here as an opposing fan in disguise and do nothing but spew negativity, you have it coming.

Oh, yeah. They deserve the name change, too, but I like keeping the old name so that everyone still knows who they are and why they're getting mocked by the forum moderators. Changing sig-pics is particularly funny, IMNSHO.

Trolls post to try to annoy people... they get their rocks off (pun intended) when somebody gets outraged... and if they get banned for it, well, they've just reached troll nirvana...

But the one thing they don't enjoy nearly as much is when the reaction is amused ridicule of their stupidity... they don't like it when everybody just makes fun of them...
