Why would he want to come back to this dysfunctional mess even if he could?
Playing for a Garrett/Linehan offense or hanging out in the booth doing something he's very good at and can probably do for 20 more years of he chooses. Tough choice.
Easy killer. This is just a fantasy. It’s not actually going to happen. As a father he won’t go back to working 24-7/365
I change my mind. I'm all for bringing him back. He will either 1. earn the God-like status his fans have elevated him to 2. get hurt or 3. fail to win once again possibly choking the season away. Anything less than a SB would be failure and getting hurt or failing to make playoffs or win a playoff game would be a complete embarrasment.
And we know he wouldn't be rusty. His one drive in Philly proved he can just flip a switch.
Let's bring him back. We have nothing to lose.
Interesting on 105.3 the fan he said physically that would be least of his worries about a comeback.
No he’s not coming back... well probably not..... well maybe if Jerry asks nicely.....
PLEASE TONY COME BACK!! Haha
Health wouldn't keep him off the field. Getting hit a couple times would knock him out again.
lol deadYeah, but even if it happened on the first 2 plays of the game, those 30 yards you'd get would be 20% of the days passing production. That's a hell of a head start for Dak.
He'd probably get hurt trying his spin move like he did against Washington. Not allowed to hit the Qb anymore.
If we're going to indulge this fantasy...
The real question is, how many minutes after Romo signs does Witten quit MNF?

That would bring a tear to Bill Parcell's eye.I think he could be coached to just sit down when nobody is open.
I want to be Shake.
He even used to be my avatar on the Ranch, when I was more in touch with my inner ******. Then I came here and learned to play nice.
The last time he played under Garrett/Linehan for a full season...
Romo was #1 in NFL for QBR (113.2)
Offense was #4th best in NFL
Do you think Tony might like the idea of redemption? And a title. Just a little?
He should quit b/c he's gonna get fired. He's terrible. His insights are over-obvious and he has no wit. I think ESPN is trying to salvage things by giving Booger McFarlane on the sideline a bigger role.
I wish!Yeah did they beg him to coach the team?
