Doomsday101;1117747 said:5'7" and was called the little General
The Wikipedia says of his football career:
He began his NFL career in 1952 with the Washington Commanders and played with them through 1959, except for 1954 when he played in the Canadian Football League. He was the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for their first 4 years, 1960 to 1963. He was selected for the Pro Bowl 4 times (1955, 1957, 1958, and 1962), and was the leading NFL passer in 1958. The shortest quarterback to ever be selected to the pro bowl, LeBaron was known primarily as a ball-handler and elusive scrambler.
He's not a HOFer, but the best passer in the league one year and a 4 time Pro Bowler seems pretty successful to me.
David.
