December and January.

Gotcha so you can go 0-12 in September through November but if you go 4-0 in December its ok cause they are the only do or die "big games" games. Good to know!!!

I really want Romo to win it all this year. The first year without T.O. All of the hate that came from the media and some fans. I have always been a Romo fan and I want to see him at the end of this year with the Super Bowl trophy in his hand. No one will be able to say anything about him ever again. I think he gets unfair treatment because he is the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. He is a top 10 QB whether you want to admit it or not. Look at the year Jay Cutler is having so far.Cutler has 10 int's already and we haven't reached the halfway. Romo has never had year like that.

again, when has Romo choked? the only real argument you could throw out there is the Seattle game, but a botched field goal attempt shouldn't have been our only way to win the game. the whole team made mistakes that cost us that game. also, when is the last time you saw a starting QB hold for a field goal? I haven't...

The "punts" he threw to Ed Reed? The inexplicable interceptions against the Steelers last season? The mess in Philly?

I wouldn't say he choked in the NYG playoff game, he just didn't play great, which if he had, the other stuff that went wrong wouldn't have mattered.

And yes, Parcells having him as a holder was idiotic.

yeah, the INTs were on him, but the whole team didn't play up to par.

the mess in Philly? really? the whole team played terrible, but that's Romo choking?

The only problem with your assement is that Peyton is still playing. He's putting up amazing numbers. Also QB rating is such a garbage stat.

esp if you don't like the QB in question. if you like the QB, suddenly the stat has value.

He played like a dog with the season on the line. Yes, that's choking.

the whole team played like garbage. it's hard for a QB to play well when the OLine quits, you have no running game, play calling is terrible...

that's not Romo's fault.

The sad part is that a lot of fans will spend their time bashing Romo until he wins the Superbowl and during those years they will miss out on enjoying one of the Cowboy greats play the game.

I feel bad for them in that aspect, because while he may trail Staubach and Aikman on postseason accomplishments , he, on a week to week basis is just great fun to watch.

Baltimore game, - really - played great in the 4th quarter for the D to let the team down - I thought that was what you guys wanted - to play well in crunch time - 4th quarter and the team gives up 2 of the most embarrassing plays in team history.

Pittsburgh game - Witten goes left - Romo throws right - how is that inexplicable?

Philly - yeah that was his fault:confused:

Yep, Romo's career Passer Rating prior to this past Sunday was 93.8 but after that game it jumped nearly a full point to 94.7. If he continues to have games where his passer rating is 100+ then he can easily move ahead of Manning even if Manning is having the same kind of games because it is effecting 45+ games rather than 180+ in Manning's case.

Case in point: Romo's rating against Seattle was "only" 108.1, but it raised his career rating from 94.7 to 95.0. Peyton Manning's career rating stayed at 95.4. So, yes, Romo could pass Manning because his rating will rise more with every good game. But it also would drop more with every bad game. Nos. 4 and 5 on the all-time list are at 93.4, so he does have a little bit of cusion there.

Now that Tony Romo has passed the 1500-attempts mark his stats are "official" and he is "officially" the 3rd highest rated QB in NFL history!

Only Steve Young (96.8) and Peyton Manning (95.4) have higher career passer ratings than Romo's 94.7. A couple more good games like the last 2 and he could move past Manning again (he was ahead of him early last year).

Romo also set a Cowboys' record yesterday with his 19th 300+-yard passing game. In only his 45th start, he has 19 300-yard games!

Man am I ever glad he is our QB! :starspin

After achieving all those remarkable goals i guess he'll finally win a big game for us, won't he ?!
