He is slamming you because we are Cowboys fans, and that is what we do! And we would expect the same in return if we showed our faces on your site after being shut out, preseason or not!

I mean come on, they can't even put the right names on the back of their jerseys... :laugh2: We have to talk about them!

When they get slammed, it is because they made a poor argument, not because of their affiliation. I'm unclear about what is accomplished when you slam fans of other teams simply because they are fans of other teams.

The fact of the matter is when a fan of another team comes on the forum of any team he will get slammed by someone. The only way to avoid it is to put the slammers on Ignore and chat with the other posters. Whining about it has never worked on any forum ever, and never will.

Any fan can go to any site for any other team, say something and they will get slammed by someone. I have been slammed for congratulating a team on a good win. If you don't expect it then you're dumber than a box of rocks. Either roll with it, ignore it, or leave. Just don't bore me to death with the fake protests of surprise.

Om ranks only slightly behind bubba and TR1 in homeristic thoughts on Commander games. He's always going to find the rainbow in the monsoon that is the Campbell led Commanders. I wouldn't put too much stock into his pep talk posts that the extremeskins members love so much.

One thing I have to say about Om though: The guy is a simply fantastic writer. One of the best I've ever seen.

That's why he can make even the Ravens game seem like a positive instead of the trainwreck everyone's eyes told them it was.

That's probably a safe wager too... but it isn't the 100% sure-fire lock that the Romo/Campbell TD's bet is though.

I can see the Commanders squeaking in the '09 playoffs under the right conditions, but I can't see Campbell out producing Romo without him pulling a Tonya Harding.

I clicked the link but I didn't see where it said that JC guided the O to any points. Infact, he didn't even get them to the 50yrd line. Yall need to score points too, cause with your 4th ranked D yall still finished DEAD LAST in the east..

Mediocre defenses do lead the league in sacks. We're better then mediocre and we can score...

... and the implication you're making is that because the results of the '08 regular season were the opposite of last year's colt preseason game, that the regular season this year will see the opposite of your Ravens game?

Unfortunately for you, that isn't the way it works.

It's almost pathetic that Commander fans have to perform mental gymnastics to the point of making the above type of leap of logic to make themselves feel better about 500 yards to 190 yards, a shutout and 1 of 13 on third down conversions.

You can try to act like your first team played ok and it was your reserves that lost the game... but I watched it.

It was bad. Very bad. All of the things that you really needed to look improved was anything but.

The Commanders will have a good defense... but that offense man. Ouch.

If we go by raw numbers, Romo will probably have more INTs.

INTs per pass attempt? That'd be a far better indicator as Romo will undoubtedly throw more than Campbell.
