BEN R.

I feel both have good field vision,nice arms,accurate,escapability,smarts. Ben gets my knod cause he has something that cant be taught,SIZE. His size and toughness to sit and take the hit for the throw makes him a better QB as of now. Opinions?

Exactly.

Romo > Manning, Brady, or any other QB not named Aikman or Roger because he is our Quarterback.

Oatmeal Raisin Mafia represent.

I choose Romo.

But when it comes down to it. Ben makes the plays when he needs to. He didnt have a great 1st SB but he made the plays when needed and he won.

His 2nd SB - they were going to lose and he made the plays and then threw that pass to win the game. THAT WAS BIG TIME.

Romo is not in that league yet. Making the plays to win ALOT in postseason and winning SB's.

Ben steps up frequently in close, late games. He is tough as nails and can take hit after hit and keep getting up. He is not as elusive as Romo but he can absorb multiple hits without looking shell-shocked out there.

Ben is also quite a bit younger and has the two SB rings and made that great drive in the second SB to win the game.

He's only two years younger, not "quite a bit" exactly... But I get your point of him being the younger of the two.

Yeah but Big Ben rapes women, Romo rapes defenses. I'll take Romo.

Psychologically it seems like a big difference because Romo is turning 30. Is Roth going to be 28 this year? I thought he was going to be 27 for some reason.

He turns 28 in March..

Romo turns 30 in April.

Ben has more threats on his team for him to go to. Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes, Mike Wallace, and Limas Sweed are good receivers, not to mention Heath Miller. And don't forget about Joey Galloway, he sucks, but they had him for a while.

That's not true... If we're comparing threats, production-wise, our receiving corps stacks up pretty good. Miles, Roy, Crayton, Witten, and Ogletree.

Miles = Hines
Witten > Heath Miller
Crayton = Mike Wallace
Santonio Holmes > Roy E.
Ogletree > Limas Sweed

Romo. I just think he's a better quarterback than Rapelisberger.

While they are different players, I don't think there is all that much difference between them as players when evaluated as a whole.

I think Ben is bigger, stronger, better arm strength and tougher.

I think Romo is quicker, smarter, faster release, better footwork, better ball handling.

If you put up good teams around them they can both be championship QBs.

Both have shaky OLs and good defenses. Ben has been able to put up with the abuse better than Romo who gets intimidated when the line breaks down around him. This is true of most QBs but Roth is tough enough to stand in there and take shot after shot because he is 250 pounds.

Also, Big Ben has had too many concussions for me to ever want to consider having him over Romo.
