He had no time to throw most of the day. Penalties from our O line had us backed up all day. No run game. and this is what happens. Our O line was the weak link of this offense today.

I agree. The Commanders DL was pushing the Cowboys OL around all day. I have never seen Tyron Smith look so mediocre in my life. He looks slow and weak. The entire line looks out of sync. They don;t pick up those twists and stunts at all and it usually means Dak is under pressure.

Having said that, Dak's fumble down at the goal line was inexcusable. He cannot scramble into the end zone after holding the football for so long. He has to run it or throw it. Then punt and let the defense see if they can hold the Commanders. Dak is holding the offense back but he is not alone.

300 yards/200 yards what happens at the end is what counts is what I hear from many of you. The whole point is in crunch time, Dak doesn’t see well so he uses what is there. A run that extends the play but missing out on key passes.

Take away one miracle outing against the Jags ( 40 points ) and we are averaging 14 points a game in our other 6 games, if others can't see the issues this offence has then it useless trying to debate with them

Yeah that was stupid. I'm not really sure what Dak's head is at there. He got destroyed all day and the line sucked......every once in awhile they would give him time but that close to the end zone you have to either escape before you get to the end zone or throw it away.....or even taking a safety would've been ok there. And I hate to say that but being he gave up 7 instead...yeah the 2 would've been far better.

Very good game by Dak, he played poised. His pocket presence was bad. His ball security behind the line is bad. This game was more about the Commanders taking away the run and letting the defense duke it out. A lot of bad penalties. This team is not talented enough or coached well enough to overcome 70+ yards of penalties.

He had a qbr of 96 with pressure all day and the only fumble was after a play which he converted and then the OL takes a penalty.

Dak doesn't trust himself. His biggest flaw may actually be his lack of decisiveness.

Unless things go perfectly for him he just goes into quicksand

Good coaching and mentoring from a solid QB coach can alleviate this. Dallas has neither of those things.

That’s exactly the problem. He’s either not seeing the plays develop until too late or he’s just too indecisive/scared to throw downfield most of the time. Either way, 4 yards of offense in the 3rd quarter and that defensive TD he gave up were inexcusable.

I'm sitting here wondering how on earth Dak threw for 270 yards today.......he wasn't flawless but he earned this W today. Didn't get it.......but this was one of those games he threw it all out there.

Again We need to win on first down and stay ahead of the chains for Dak to be successful

Dak did everything he could within his SKILL SET to win the game . Hurns, Shultz , Zeke all dropped important catches Zeke a TD . Every time Dak would make a good throw it would be called back for holding and kill the drive .

Dak was pretty much Dak today but his teammates hurt his best efforts and left him bad down and distance situations to overcome .

I wont even get into how bad Garretts clock management is because its been the same for 10 yrs and Jerry is satisfied to sit in his box and look like a fool because of his handpicked boy so there is nothing that can be done about that . Every QB will have to figure out how to overcome Garrett because he is obviously here to stay

Still lost the game and had WRs running free all game that we got to see only because Tony was showing us!

Otherwise we would hear how the WRs are terrible and this Oline is to blame!

Open your eyes people the FAKE news media is trying to keep us stuck with Garrett and Dak!!!

I was telling another poster that Romo was discussing missed opportunities by Dak.

It's only going to get worse for Dak because other commentators /nfl analysts will follow Romo's lead.

Yep. TE wide open for a score over the middle. Same with Beasley on another play. Beasley open on that slant to the left. Dak holds on to the ball for too long on most pass plays. He waits for someone to break wide open. He's afraid to make tight window passes. You can tell he's not confident in that area.

Please review the game and count the number of times Smith was carried into his face or failed to block. It was a lot. A real lot.
It's shocking how much Smith has declined. Very sad to see a former great one fall off like he has.
