My Giants buddy (and avid Romo hater) texted me and said "Romo's horrible" during the game... I don't think he had an incompletion after that text! LOL

Same here, haven't had any replies back from any of them today.:D

False.
This is a Romo I don't think we've ever seen before. Not having to single-handedly win games, using the run game, having a great o-line...he looks unstoppable. He has never looked this good. This is Romo on a different level.

That's cool man. I have no issue with this.

I just don't agree. I've see Romo look this good before when he didn't get the help he's getting. He's only now getting the credit he's deserved because they're giving him the help he's needed and he's not having to do as much.

I guess I'm saying, the consistency and there are borderline zero mistakes. Even in years prior, when he's had to pull a rabbit out of a hat, he'd make some mistakes. He's not really doing that. He's automatic at the moment.

The realists i think are either trolls or cowboy observers or devils advocates, just trying to stir the pot...they dont really believe what they post, just trying to provoke a reaction. I mean nobody is that dumb about football

This is the same Romo as always. I love how these former haters/doubters are saying he is different somehow. It is really absurd to tell you the truth.

Romo is the only reason the Cowboys have been respectabble during his tenure here. Without him they would have been cellar dwellers for the past 6-7 years

No doubt. A lot of people don't realize he was the least of their problems.

Every week I have felt he looks a little better but still doesn't look completely right.

Yesterday against the Giants when he threw that TD to Williams I thought to myself that he is back.

Romo is looking like Romo again.

He had a live arm yesterday for sure. That ball was coming out crisply.

If I'm mistaken, I think he may have had a perfect 2nd half.

Romo has been this good for a while, do I don't think this is a new Romo. It's just with all the things you mentioned the defenses are playing against the run and Romo is having an easier time in the passing game. He doesn't have the best 4th quarter passer rating all-time because he wasn't this good before. The offense has gone to another level, that's for sure.

Easily performing at a top 5 level this season.

It might have to be better than that. Some of those guys people usually put in the top 5 like Brady and Brees.....aren't playing better than Romo this year. I'd say top 3 this year is Rivers, Romo and Rodgers.

He has reason to trust the team around him now, so he doesn't have to force the issue nearly as much. He's afforded the luxury of taking fewer risks.

Better quality targets make his traditional rating higher, and his willingness to run when necessary is helping with the ESPN version of the rating. (Also, Dez falling down probably kept that INT yesterday from counting against him according the ESPN stat, but I'm just guessing here.)

He is looking better than ever this year. Last year it seemed like he just couldn't throw the deep ball. I can't think of a deep ball that he under threw this year where he wasn't being rushed. I suspect his back was hurting him early in the year, even before he hurt it in the Commanders game.

Well to be fair, Peyton had no problems throwing it to the Saints that cost him a Super Bowl...just sayin'.

The one play that highlights a different mental game with Romo was when the blitzer had a free rush on his blind side, he did his famous escape, then promptly threw the ball about 40 yards out of the endzone it seemed. In the past, he would have stayed with it to try and make the play, to force it so to speak. Now, he trust his team, he did the smart play, got rid of the ball, didn't take the sack and didn't force a throw. I think he finally has a team that he completely trusts and that spells trouble for the rest of the league.

Hawk gets front row seat of his daddy being awesome.
I must admit, I never believed Romo would be playing at this level.

I agree. He LOOKS better because he doesn't have to do it all himself. He's never looked this good before, he is just rolling.
