Can't run on every play. Will have to throw at some point. Will have to throw it better than we did tonight for sure next week, cos the Bucs are gonna be an issue for us as well.
We have to run it down their throat. We can't go back to our passing first offense. That's what caused us all those 8-8 seasons. The play calling tonight reminded me of those years.

I saw some great blitzes by the Giants tonight. Guarantee Romo would have been knocked out of the game by some of the hits Dak took.

This loss was 100% on Dak. He looked lost, poor mechanics, just bad. I don't have much confidence that for the next several games we'll see anything different from Dak.

He has plenty of film on him now. Defenses know what to take away.

Zeke dominated and got his and we still lost.

It's only going to get tougher for Dak from here on out.

I'm not going to put this loss on Dak but it was his worst game by far. I would have suggested that he would be the starter no matter what but if they string a few of these together I could see Romo out there before the end of the year.
I rarely think you can put a loss entirely on one player, but if you ever could, it would be tonight.

Dez sucked too, but the rest of the team looked great.

They will stay with Dak.
11-2 folks. They are not about to mess with that at this stage.

Look, I think Romo (WHEN HEALTY) is the better player. And honestly, at this early stage in Daks career, I dont think its extremely close.
Just this week again, I heard that Romo just looks way better in practice. Hes just looking great. The ball never even hits the ground.
But hes not getting hit.

I love Tony, but sorry folks, Im staying with Dak for now.

Just go win next week, Cowboys, and get back on track

LOL @ this thread. There's no turning back at this point. Barring injury to Dak, Romo's time is done....

Its going to be very hard for Jerry to justify putting this season in the hands of a rookie QB who has now been shown to be mortal. He is going to have to fight every instinct he has not to play Romo in the playoffs.
Are you Jerry? How do you know it's going to be hard for JERRY? Lmbo! smh.

It would'vebeen nice to complete a screen pass or see dak scramble for a first down to slow the blitz. The giants must've blitzed 65-70% of the plays!

I just want to point out that all this "you have to see what your rookie QB is made out of" talk is....

....what you do on a team that is trying to find its next franchise QB who 99% of the time is having a crap year and isn't in playoff contention. But this team is that other 1%, with a guy who has a reputation for choking but also has several all-pro seasons under his belt sitting on the bench.

You leave your rooks in there to take their lumps if you don't have anything to play for. This team is the #1 seed in the NFC. If dak keeps struggling, Romo should be in there as we head to the playoffs.

Amost like he's just a mid round rookie and he rode the coat tails of the best rb and line in the league while the franchises most talented passer of all time just watched

For those suggesting I was waiting....or even hoping, for Dak to play like this, wrong. I'd be much happier if Dak lit it up and the Cowboys rolled. I want him to be great. I think he'll be fine long term. But he's looked like hot garbage two weeks in a row,

Romo is just sitting there and I have little doubt that TODAY, right now, he's better. We're talking about a super bowl and I don't think Dak gets Dallas there THIS year. Does Romo? Hard to say. Maybe, only one way to find out.

So even if Dak looks this bad against the Bucs and Lions (two very good defensive teams) we don't play Romo?

I'm just sitting hear laughing at the Romo crowd, oh how we forget. So the first time Romo goes out and stinks it up, all you'll see will be excuses after excuses. Oh, the line didn't block, oh, Zeke didn't run right, oh, Dez kept dropping the ball, oh, their defense didn't leave anyone open, oh, Linehan can't call plays, oh, Garrett sucks.

I'm saying right now that Dak stunk up the joint tonight, it happens. But I stay with him. What will the Romo lovers say when he loses?

I give up. One of the few reasons that we are having a special season is because of Dak.

No Dak has been an average QB who has made some very timely plays. Zeke and this OL have been propping him up all season.
