I don't have a firm opinion on this either way.

But with the way Dak has played and our passing attack has looked the last two weeks, I don't think it's something you can slam the door on. If Dak stinks it up again against a legit TB defense, you have to consider making a switch.

Rookie QB's don't win Super Bowls, they look like Dak did tonight.

The games are only going to get tougher.
Not every team has a defense like Minnesota and the Giants.

Has Romo ever only put up 7 pts? Just curious.
there was that playoff game in Minnesota a few years ago, he blitzed to death and we lost big! I think the score was 38-7.

Not pleased with Dak's game. But as I asked what if Romo comes in and has a bad game. You're going to keep switching out QB's if one has a bad game?
No, we don't want a circus going on back there. If Dak plays bad in the first half against the Bucs then put Romo in for that half to see if there's a "spark". If no spark then just play Dak the rest of the way. I feel if Dak stinks it up vs Tampa Bay for the whole game and we start Romo against Detroit then we play Romo the rest of the way. But starting a different QB every other game would be bad.

I'm a huge Romo fan and want Romo to play but I'm not ready to give up on Dak. This has been 2 bad games in a row which is concerning. I also didn't see a lot of guys helping Dak. Bryant has been terrible against the Giants this year. His two worst games have been the giants. Dropping a TD pass in the first game and fumbling in this game. That holding call on TWill really hurt and killed a drive. But besides that one holding call I felt Twill had a great game. Offensive line didn't dominate as much and EE didn't dominate as much. It just seemed like the offense was out of sync all night. And give the Giants credit, they know how to beat us, they struggle with beating other people but they beat us pretty good.

I got 2 things to say- 1. We're still 11-2 so no need to jump of a bridge, We still control our own destiny and 2. I'd like to see at least one more game with Dak starting and if he doesn't move the offense then I'd try a spark with Romo.

No Dak has been an average QB who has made some very timely plays. Zeke and this OL have been propping him up all season.

We had a great OL and stud running back the last time Romo played too.

So even if Dak looks this bad against the Bucs and Lions (two very good defensive teams) we don't play Romo?
remember the browns game? If we were gonna see Romo that would have been it. Dak has earned this job and it is time for Romo fans to let it go.

Tony is one of the best December quarterbacks in NFL history. Not only did he not play in this game or any other game this season, but he hasn't even been allowed to compete for the starting job. So, here we are, struggling in December with Romo on the bench, and the only plan I've heard is the Cowboys are going to try to talk him into staying next year as Dak's backup. That means its going to be very hard to make any decision for Tony to play going forward, with Dak already having been handed the job permanently and Tony clearly on his way out to a team next year that will let him compete for the starting job.

Also I better not be seeing Dak and Elliott on TMZ partying this week. I hope they didn't take their focus off of football and this is why they didn't play well.

Agreed. But the Bucs, Lions, and Eagles all have very solid defenses that can hold our team to under 24 points.

Even with our fine defensive performance tonight, I still don't trust our defense when it comes down to it in passing situations.

Are you Jerry? How do you know it's going to be hard for JERRY? Lmbo! smh.

Because: 1. Romo is Jerry's buddy, 2. Jerry likes to be the "decider." 3. Jerry isn't going to want to waste this record and HFA in the playoffs on the chance of another rookie stinker from Dak.

No. Because his play up until this point has earned him the starting job for the year . He's not going to have a 100 passer rating every game. The best QBs have down games. It happens in the NFL. Dak plays until the season is over.

I'm just sitting hear laughing at the Romo crowd, oh how we forget. So the first time Romo goes out and stinks it up, all you'll see will be excuses after excuses. Oh, the line didn't block, oh, Zeke didn't run right, oh, Dez kept dropping the ball, oh, their defense didn't leave anyone open, oh, Linehan can't call plays, oh, Garrett sucks.

I'm saying right now that Dak stunk up the joint tonight, it happens. But I stay with him. What will the Romo lovers say when he loses?

Maybe he loses, maybe he doesn't. You play the better QB. End of story

No, we allow Romo to shake off the rust since we have the playoffs locked up already. This is the perfect time to give Romo a few games to get back into it.

Better than watching this journeyman meltdown and throw ducks in critical moments.

If we stick with Dak no matter what than we will lose at Seattle in the wild card round. I hope Dak can turn it around... But if he can't then we need to bench him

I'm not saying it's off the table but it should be off the table right now. We are 11-2 and our rookie QB has led us to an 11 game winning streak. We have got to see what he's made of.

He also led us to a 1 game losing streak. And it's not as if he's carried the team for 11 games. On the other hand you could easily say that he cost us this game with his terrible play.

LOL so he can suck 3 weeks in a row, when we have a chance at a Super Bowl, because he "earned" his job. Well, the flipside of that is, you can lose it as well. Kinda how it works.
