Especially if we face THIS Giants team in the playoffs. Can anyone here actually imagine Dak doing anything in that game other than ******** the bed? If so, what's the belief based on?

We have to run it down their throat. We can't go back to our passing first offense. That's what caused us all those 8-8 seasons. The play calling tonight reminded me of those years.

I agree 100%, tonight's game and the Vikes when they haven't run it down there throat it really puts us in a bad spot it seems, got to keep the ground and pound going. Play calling tonight was horrible, I have no dought everyone on here was shaking there heads watching the game. Not sure if they pull Dak after these last two games but if he plays like this again against TB they might have the discussion about it to finish the season out. Every game still counts even with a play off berth clinched already

I saw some great blitzes by the Giants tonight. Guarantee Romo would have been knocked out of the game by some of the hits Dak took.

I would say they all will outside of maybe one. The Giants, Seahawks, Lions, and Bucs will all be playoff teams and all have near elite defenses. That leaves one team that might not. Beyond that even if they don't have elite defenses they probably can read a script and the script seems to have been written on Dak. It just reminds me so much of Romos first real year.

I don't need to be a fortune teller to recognize Romo can't take a hit anymore. He's old and brittle as can be.

I disagree. The kid has led us to 11 straight wins. He shouldn't get benched unless it's in a playoff game. Romo, Troy, Staubach, and every other QB should be allowed to lose 2 games and not get benched. Division games are tough.

Exactly this whole entire thread is ridiculous my how quickly a honeymoon can end for weeks most fans were saying Dak is the future and after his bad game against the Giants now he sucks and is an incompetent QB wow how some of these fans disgust me. I seen several games where good QBs stunk it up today Wilson threw 5Ints, Big Ben 3Ints, and Brees 3Ints and for some reason I kind of knew Dak would have a similar game tonight well on to the next game. I will just chalk it up as a bad game by Dak it happens as you mentioned.

He also led us to a 1 game losing streak. And it's not as if he's carried the team for 11 games. On the other hand you could easily say that he cost us this game with his terrible play.

Well all I know is that last year we couldn't win anything with our backups and this year we are 11-2 and he's a big reason why. Yes he sucked tonight but that doesn't take away from what he's done all season long.

No. Because his play up until this point has earned him the starting job for the year . He's not going to have a 100 passer rating every game. The best QBs have down games. It happens in the NFL. Dak plays until the season is over.

Then look forward to losing in Seattle in the Wild Card round... because that looks like what we might be heading for.

Ok, I misspoke. The results still weren't any better than what Dak has accomplished and we're typically worse. People have forgotten how bad Romo can be and are now saying Dak is average or sucks.

Overreaction thread but the rook looked like a rook

I agree this is an over reaction thread but what is concerning to me is the last three games the offense has regressed a little bit each game. That pattern scares me. I'm not going to say it's all on Dak because Dak is not the only one who plays offense. Dak can only throw the ball and hand off. The first pick Dez fell down, the second pick it kind of looked like Dez didn't think the ball was coming to him, but it was a bad throw anyway. Then obviously Dez's fumble killed us. And this is the 2nd time this years that Spags outcoached Linehan.

You can't blame Dak for the whole offense sucking, but if the whole offense sucks again next week then maybe we go to Romo for a spark.

I just don't want to ruin this 11-2 record trying to preserve any QB's ego or confidence. We might not be 11-2 for another 25 years, let's not spoil it.

Doubtful, Seattle sucks on the road but they will know how to frustrate Dak at home. I am willing to give Dak another chance, but after the last two weeks he needs to perform or we move on.

We don't know who the better QB is because Romo's never gone past the second round of the playoffs. Right now, Dak is 11-2. That's what we know right now.

I think he's played amazingly well for a rookie. But I know that teams fear Zeke about 1000 times more than Dak. They game plan for Zeke, if you doubt it look no further than Dak's good throw tonight - the entire defense went after Zeke and left Williams uncovered. So saying this team couldn't win anything isn't quite true, because this team has the best RB in the NFL. Last year's team didn't.
