Romo will be in the ROH

They combined for a whopping one Pro Bowl between the two of them (in a smaller league) in 23 seasons, so clearly they were the epitome of football excellence.

Danny White was awesome before his injury. He lead the team to 3 straight NFC title games, and i'm sure you recall "the catch" like it was yesterday b/c it robbed Danny of a super bowl appearance and the glory that ended up going to Joe Montana.

That said, he's not going in the ROH b/c he wasn't a JerryJones Player.

Good enough is just Sad actually.

Good enough to contend for SB if his receiving corps, OL, and the defense are strengthen.

Do you prefer the Cowboys as a team winning SBs or just the Cowboys QB among the regular season leaders in passing stats?

He was not awesome. He was OK. The idea that he was some great QB is basically a recent phenomenon created by Dak slobberers to diminish Romo. No one thought he was a great QB during his career, and there was never any outrage that he wasn’t in the Ring of Honor, because no one thought he was that good.
During the 8 year period where he was the starter, White threw more interceptions than every player in the league except one, Dan Fouts. And Fouts had over 7,000 more passing attempts.

Super Bowl, we are not even touching 9-7 let alone SB's. Dak cannot be counted on to consistently move the ball down the field throwing it, yes he can get it done now and then but when u need to air it out can u count on it with Dak? I don't think so. Dallas never has had a bus driver for a QB before and personally I don't like it.

Team wasn't ever going to win a SB with Romo and won't win one with Dak. We need to spend some draft capital and get a QB capable of leading the team in the playoffs against the best teams in the league.

And that's what I'm worried about. I like Dak. I think he's capable of leading a team if he has the right players around him. I doubt this is the place. I look at all these rookie QB's tearing up the league and We just aren't going to be able to compete with that.

1996 Irvin was suspended for first 5 games and got injured in the playoffs.

The Cowboys were done from then on due to poor coaches and GM Jerry making poor draft selections.

1998 - Jerry passed on Moss who would have reinvigorated the Triplets

1999 - Irvin suffered career ending injury and retired

2000 - Aikman suffered another concussion and retired

1996 he had Irvin for 11 games, still stucked.

I see you left out 1996 and 97. Just drafting Moss does not mean Aikman would have done anything - again, he didn't elevate anyone on the team. You're explaining to me that Aikman could only be an acceptable QB with studs surrounding him.

Is this it? This all everyone has?

They never signed/drafted a tight end the caliber of Jay Novachek after he retired?

"They didn't surround Aikman with more HOF talent so he couldn't elevate simply good players" - there, that's what you need to say. Which is exactly my point.

I didn't see LaFleur as being good. He was more like Escobar, a Jag.

I see we have to bash our other QB's to prompt Romo up again. lol

I don't need to do anything to "prompt Romo up" - the second half of Aikman's career speaks for itself. I don't know why saying Aikman was a bus driver on one of the greatest teams put together is such a bad thing.

I do not care about Dan Marino’s, Warren Moon’s, and Brett Favre’s regular season passing stats. Aikman won more SBs than those 3 combined.
This argument is garbage. Is Terry Bradshaw a better QB than Aikman? Going by your broken logic Eli Manning is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers, and Joe Flacco is better than Tony Romo. Come up with something new. Stop it with this trash argument.

I do not care about QBs with better regular season stats who won less SBs or no SBs (Tony Romo). I do not care if Aikman was a better QB than Bradshaw.

I only care about putting together a team that is good enough to win SBs regardless if the QB is great, good, a bus driver, or if there are other QBs that are “better.”

I do not believe the Eagles fans care about the stats of Nick Foles or how good he is compared to QBs with better regular season stats. They are just happy the Eagles won their first SB.

There are plenty QBs who were not the best in regards to regular season stats who won SBs; since football is a team sport.
