Romo would've won it

Riiiiggghtt. If romo had the exact game you and all the usuals would be crying like babies lollll

Orton is a backup who had his job taken by Tim Tebow.

Romo is our franchise, 1st string, 100 million dollar QB.

If Romo played the same game as Orton, you bet I'd be ticked with him. I'm ticked with Orton a bit, but I mean, dude is a back-up. And for the most part, he handled a lot of the little things better than Romo does.

That's so cute ....

It's not like we don't have a mountain of evidence about what happens in a game like this.

a home game in week 17?

go check your evidence again for me.

what is Romo's record in week 17 at home.

I do believe Romo would have scored more. Doesn't mean the game would have played out the same so yeah... No one knows.

Romo would've won it, easily, but it doesn't matter because he didn't. A good HC would've also won it today, but yah, we definitely don't have one of those.

Orton played good enough to win though, we should've won this game.
I can only laugh at posts like this. Romo would've won it? Year after year he's had opportunities like this and failed.

Yea and he would have won last year against Washington. Sorry but I still have no faith that we win the game. But I am starting to believe that Garrett just put's his QBs in bad positions all the time. It doesn't matter who the QB is. It's still the same result. I don't think the defense even plays this good if Romo had played. I think they knew they had to play better because Romo was out.

This is true. We are just snakebit

I hate to have this attitude but it seems like no matter what I always expect something bad to happen especially when we get close. It was just like last year's finale in Washington. We have the ball with a chance to win the game and boom a buzzkill. I'm just not surprised anymore. Something bad always happens to this team when we get close.

Tough loss I know - not that the team lost but your agenda got smoked.

I don't have an agenda. I call a spade a spade. I knew we could win without Romo. The only agenda that got smoked is how we'd get blown out every week without the 100 million dollar loser.

We would have won with Romo, in spite of Garrett and that wonderful TO.

We might have won by 10. Murray was on fire, and Orton doesn't know how to use his WR's much like Brad Johnson.

Black Monday is a comin....

Theres no on in the right mind that can justify giving romo 100 million after tonights game. If you take that 100 million and put that into making this defense better and letting orton start there would be a hell of alot of difference.

Orton has started a significant amount of games in his career. It's not like he was drafted yesterday.

All of the key numbers point to him being a below average quarterback. That's why he is a backup.
Whether you like it or not, the numbers Orton put up tonight after being off for 2 years are identical to what Romo would've put up. The moral of the story is, neither QB is the answer to going to the Super Bowl.

year after year he has had to win on the road in week 17. i recall two times he has played at home on week 17, and we went to the playoffs both those years.

so I call bs on your agenda

There was definitely a disconnect between he and the receivers. It was disappointing to see. But if Romo was in, I doubt it plays out the same.

I think Philly's defensive approach would've been much different (IE: More safety help on Dez).
