If you had to point to any weakness in Romo's game, it's gotta be the deep ball at this point...In particular, those touch passes down the sidelines (As someone else mentioned).
I brought this play up in a different thread but still haven't gotten any confirmed evidence on what happened...The whole play looked odd to me...But not necessarily the throw (Which did float a little) but the routes that were run...Two WRs (Crayton & T.O.?) running nearly the identical route?...Seemed like someone ran the wrong route as the two of them easily drew the Safety over to cover and zero in on the INT, quite easily.
And the other odd thing about the play was how the WRs didn't even appear to look for the ball...It's almost as if that route was run as a decoy (Still, one of the WRs ran the route incorrectly) when in fact it was designed to be thrown to one of them...Didn't see them look up at all much less make an effort for the ball.
And you could see Tony was upset but almost as if it weren't himself he was upset with, i.e. wrong route ran by one of them.
Strange play, though...Wonder why it never was addressed by the reporters or in the pressy
