Romo's Mexican Getaway EXPOSED!

Coming up, on Sunday NFL Countdown - Meshawn discusses Romo breaking the most important Parcells QB Commandment (don't be a superstar QB), while Parcells rapes and pillages the Dallas Cowboys front office from Miami. To be followed by an hour long special (featuring Clinton Portis as Inspector Tutu) about how the spirit of Sean Taylor will lead the Commanders to the Superbowl.

Cause Witten hasnt been struggling?

So some players are allowed to have their days off and others are not allowed.

I wonder if his thumb has anything to do with his struggles? I bet locking himself in his room will make the thumb all better!!

Was he or was he not struggling in the Philadelphia game before he hurt his thumb??

What time did he hurt his thumb in the game? Nobody knows

Can we give Philly any credit for a good game plan against a division rival?

Seriously him taking his days off will not effect our season in the slightest, some people just need a reason to ***** I guess

except those couple of bad games happened at the end of the season, just before romo went to mexico. you'd think as the leader of the team, he should lead by example and practice to get back on form.

and theres a difference between "getting away from football" and going to mexico with your girlfriend

There are studies that prove that people who are happier result in harder working and an overall better outcome. So unless you want your QB to crack and choke under the pressure by caging him up and forcing him to watch 16 weeks of game tape on 3 different potential opponents.

Lets get real here, him in Mexico during a bye week when coaches are interviewing and other players are instructed to "keep their legs fresh" is about as substantial on winning the game as believing in an 8 ball jinx.

shhhhhh do not DARE bring reality into this thread!!!

No there is no difference. He has a couple days off and left like every other player. You seriously think he is the only player taking his days off? Why arent we *****ing that Witten is there too?

Because Romo is the QB/Leader of the team. This isn't the first time Romo has been out of town with his high profile girlfriends during times when most people think he should be at home. The team may be 13-3 but Romo is regressing since week 12. He should be at home doing whatever it takes to make sure he help and leads the team to win there 1st playoff win in 11 years

1. In the second half

2. No, we cant.

We didnt lose that game cause Philly was playing good D. We lost that game cause just like he played against Washington, he was under and overthrowing wide open receivers when he wasnt even under pressure and forcing balls into double coverage. There's no excuse for completing 36 and 48% of your passes in two of your last three games except you yourself are playing poorly.

:p Well, theres always an extreme to that too. Our advantage is the bye, our opponents aren't coming into the game refreshed and with 3-4 extra days of preparation. Lets not take out our advantage. Remember, Phillips is repeating the formula he followed in the first bye week, which resulted in a Philly stadium evacuation by the 2nd half.

is this team 13-3 without Romo? answer NO

It doesnt matter that you thik he should be at home, he has a couple days off and like every other player he is taking his days off like the coaches tell them they are taking their days off. When its time to work again, Romo will be first at the park as usual. Locking himself in his room is not gonna improve him. Taking his days off is not gonna hurt him

when did I ever say Romo should ONLY concentrate on football, locked up in his room?

i don't think him going out of the country, partying it up with jessica is not a good use of his time. if he wants to relax, i'm all for that. you just don't need to go out and do that with your girl in mexico.

That is your problem not mine

So I guess if you have a big presentation next weekend and take your wife out fishing for two days, you must not be focused on the task at hand.

I feel like I'm reading ATN over at ES here more by the day.

Wow, I can't believe this conversation is occuring, don't some of you have Britney Spears stories to comment on
