You miss the point. People are stating that if he loses focus in the next game or upcoming games, then its a possibility his trips may be a culprit. Whats so hard to comprehend?

Going on a weekend trip, that I'd bet that MANY of the players on the roster are taking isn't going to be that much of a distraction. We've got a ton of players from all over the US. I'd put good money on them going home for a quick trip.

Spears, Bradie, Hatcher in Louisiana?
Canty in North Carolina?
Hurd in San Antonio or Austin?

Just being real, these guys aren't ALL sitting around Dallas if they're given a couple days off.

Tell you what, it's a good thing the press didn't follow the Super Bowl teams in the 90's, during the playoff weeks. Tony is very mild compared to the way those guys partied. You wouldn't believe some of the stories I have heard from the lips of the players there.

I think most here are on the same page. I dont think anyone here would approve of someone doing something on their own time that would ruin their focus. The question rises on whether or not this would affect him at all. Heck, I think they are playing better this year cause they dont have their family jewels in a sling like last year.

What exactly makes you think he lost focus? Were there no drooped passes in Dec? Did our running game not all the sudden disappear? Maybe some questionable play calling? Our Defense got out scored, did they lose focus?.

FYI-Andy Reid gives his team the ENTIRE week off during the bye. Last I checked, he's only lost ONE game coming off the bye in his career(and that was the Super Bowl).

Romo hasn't won jack yet in term of playoffs apperances...Brady has. Your not going to change my mind, Romo is still a rookie in a sense and he should be here praticing everyday, Terry Glenn and him should be getting there timing down as much as possible

That's an excellent idea...if one thinks Romo should burn himself out and completely lose desire.

Vacations and timely breaks are necessary to maintain high levels of productivity.
