ET is worth 3-7 points less for the opponent per game. He doesn't drop interceptions. He knows where to be and when.

He makes this very good defense a truly elite one. More like the defense he used to play for in Seattle.

Funny how we beat up on a horrible team and we're all set again.

Seattle runs a smallish defense with speed. We can just overpower them on offense and just need to contain Wilson. I think we can just overpower them and wear them down. Wilson will have a long day after a short week.
Point set match.

Shirt week will be a challenge for Seattle, coming off the road no less.

Not spending that on a 29-year old. And not giving up premium draft pick. I’ve thought about it a lot and wrong or right, that’s my view.

You watch...if the Boys trade for him...he’ll pull a hammy within 3 games.

Yeah.

A loss tonight in Chicago followed by a Cowboys win Sunday....and the price for Earl Thomas could go down.

Seattle is similar to the Giants. Bad offensive line with a defense that has taken some steps backward. The difference is that Russell Wilson can run for his life, while Eli can not. The Cowboys have an excellent chance to win in similar fashion on Sunday to what we saw last night.

An 0-3 start for Seattle pretty much ends their season already. Thomas then becomes a commodity they have to shed by Week 6 and the trading deadline. Risking getting him injured after the Cowboys game would be foolish and arrogant. Not to mention, teams aren't going to pay as much for 10 games as they would 13.

Chicago can play defense, as we saw last night, so if they can pull this out tonight, that will only help Dallas' cause.

Add Earl Thomas to the back end of what we're seeing, with Heath and Frazier as the strong safety duo and Woods backing up and learning from ET.....

That would make for a truly dominant defense, especially with Gregory and Irving back in the fold.

Go Bears.

I agree for the most part, BUT Seattle has now lost the last 6 games they’ve played. They’ll be angry and desperate and in their house, which makes me nervous...

Now rooting for Seattle because I don't want to give up a premium draft pick for a guy who we will be his first choice in free agency in 10 months.

Now if you think this team is 1 player away from a championship please raise your hand so I can have salt available in the future as I read your posts.

Were not one player away, but I'm tired of the endless mediocrity do something to say addressing issues with the team. Sure our safeties have played fine so far, but Cam one of the most overrated players in the league, and Eli had literally no chance his blocking was so bad. Even a 75% Thomas would be a massive upgrade for this defense which looks like it is going to have to carry this team.

Funny how we lose one game and the sky is falling

I think nonbiased fans have it right we look like a 7-9 to 10-6 team, neither game has me feeling any different. As far as our defense has progressed, (two non power house offenses) our offense has regressed and that has been an ongoing trend since last year.

Well you have to image Seattle would drop their price to a second rounder. We would drop our offer to a 3rd. Seattle probably won't take it.

It would be nice to have ET for a 3rd, but I don't see it happening.

Woods should be playing by week 4.

You know.. we seem to be doing just fine with frazier in... I wouldn't make the switch to woods yet.

Yeah I'm happy enough with this defense right now to avoid giving away a draft pick for ET at this point. Sign him in the off-season? Abso-freakin-lutely.
This is another wasted season under the red headed genius. No reason to sabotage the next coach striping him of picks.

Just kidding. Garrett is saying until the original pictures of JJ having fun with a donkey in the barn after a night of drinking are secured.

We're 4th in total defense, 5th in passing defense. Personally not concerned about it. Will they trade Russell Wilson instead?

I doubt the price will go down that much. The Seahawks may be inclined to trade Thomas, and possibly would accept our second round offer, but again, pure speculation. I think the Cowboys are going to have a hard time beating them in Seattle. All of their injured players will be back, except Baldwin. If we could not stop Cam, Wilson is a double nightmare because he can actually pass accurately.

Did you watch that hot mess last night? And Seattle may have lost their center. Dallas should win Sunday if they're anything.

I would rather see Frazier play. I think he has been Wally Pipped.

Frazier didn't replace Woods. Frazier replaced Heath, who replaced Woods. I don't like Heath at free safety.
