11) Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (Preseason: 27)

Prescott's ability to finish with a flourish against Philadelphia helped erase what was otherwise his toughest career start. That ability to fight through adversity has impressed coach Jason Garrett and owner Jerry Jones, who all but confirmed the Dallas quarterback decision is made. They are going to keep playing Prescott until he compels them to do otherwise.

I hope Jerry doesn't ruin things by being stupid and buying into this "hot hand" nonsense. Hopefully, Garrett can talk some sense into him.

I have no doubt that Linehan and ex-QBs Garrett and Wilson are well aware of what needs to be done. But it appears that gutless Jerry is going to play to the fans/media and wait until we lose to do anything. As long as that doesn't leave only 1 game for Romo to get ready, it's probably not going to mess up anything letting the kid play it out.

Not bad for not even our 1st fourth round pick. I'm loving this team.

The idea that Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson are ahead of him this year is laughable. They are getting their rankings more based on past performance and reputation instead of what they have done this year. All 3 have played far worse than Prescott so far this year.

And?

There is a reason why freshman usually do very well and they have the "sophmore slump". They deserve some credit for being past their sophmore slump over a freshman.

I thought the same... especially Wilson.

Amazing how many recently-dominant teams are garbage this year. Packers, Ravens, Panthers, Seahawks, Cardinals all either had their QB crap themselves, or the whole team turned into trash overnight.

So Landry Jones makes the rankings while Ben does not?

?????????????

This is a midseason ranking. He is ranking QB's based on their play this year (supposedly). Whether a QB is past their sophmore slump or not is totally irrelevant.

As if he they already named Prescott the year long starter. I love reporters who think they have the pulse of the team all the time. Try spending some more time in the edit room and tell me why you forgot about Big Ben.

And nothing, have you watched Wilson and that offense this year? They have been hot garbage. This is a midseason ranking not a career ranking ....and it sux.

Oops sorry, I accidentally came into the Romosexual room.

That's ok, I just been in the corner listening ........

Psssst, BTW, anyone notice that Dak doesn't wear a wrist band with the playbook like Wentz does. Cheater. I couldn't get away with this in college.

I hope Garrett/Jerry have the guts to make the tough decision which is Romo starting, with all the media and most fans saying this is Dak´s job it won´t be easy to make the change but the film should tell them that Romo takes this team to Championship level not Dak, at least not now.
Not bashing Dak in any kind of way, I love the guy but Romo is simply the better QB (2014 version) at this point.
