I hope Garrett/Jerry have the guts to make the tough decision which is Romo starting, with all the media and most fans saying this is Dak´s job it won´t be easy to make the change but the film should tell them that Romo takes this team to Championship level not Dak, at least not now.
Not bashing Dak in any kind of way, I love the guy but Romo is simply the better QB (2014 version) at this point.
And nothing, have you watched Wilson and that offense this year? They have been hot garbage. This is a midseason ranking not a career ranking ....and it sux.
The challenge for me Coy, and I'm not saying Romo shouldn't start, is that the Romo we know hasn't played at a high level in 2 years. And 2 years is a long time in the NFL. The film of 2014 isn't applicable... And quite frankly even the first couple games of last season prior to the first injury he didn't look all that sharp.
What they (the Cowboys brain trust) is look at how he's moving and throwing in practice and if they think he's a better option than Prescott then by all means put him in. But if he ain't... then he ain't. Prescott's playing at a high level. Romo needs to exceed that.
11) Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (Preseason: 27)
Prescott's ability to finish with a flourish against Philadelphia helped erase what was otherwise his toughest career start. That ability to fight through adversity has impressed coach Jason Garrett and owner Jerry Jones, who all but confirmed the Dallas quarterback decision is made. They are going to keep playing Prescott until he compels them to do otherwise.

He looked HOT in the preseason game before he got injured...so we can assume he still haz it. If not, he would suck it up in practice drills too.
Great point, and I agree but you at least have to give him a chance to prove it to you, don´t you think? Hey, we won on Sunday but that wasn´t a good game for Dak, saying that I do know it´s a tough decision because we are winning and frankly Dak has the "it" factor whatever that means and is playing winning football. I just hope they go with their gut, whatever that is, and not fall for the pressure of everybody saying that Dak cannot be benched.
Anyway, I am thrilled that we have our QB for the next decade.
I don't think you would find a top 10 QB reading from anyone that wouldn't have Romo in the top ten qb's
You give him a chance to prove it in practice.
I´m fine with that, so if he looks great in practice, you would put him in?

I shake my head at comments like that.
He was 1 for 1 for 11 yards in the preseason game vs. Seattle.
Obviously you replied based on agenda and not fact.
I shake my head at comments that reply and dont read....the preseason game BEFORE he got injured...dallas versus miami. 4/5 for 49
The writer didn't say anything about repeatability. You added that on your own.with ranking comes repeatability as well
Could you get a smaller sample size?

This was a first half ranking, period.
