You're way off.Agree,,,Never say never, look at what Baltimore got for Orlando Brown.
Traded the Chiefs' 2021 picks 31, 94, and 136 in addition to a 2022 fifth-rounder for Orlando Brown
You're way off.
If anything, the Chiefs got the better end of that deal.
You left out that in addition to Brown, Baltimore gave the Chief this year's 2nd rounder and next year's 6th.
When you add up the Cheifs gave up the equivalent of the 44th pick for Orlando Brown
Yeah, no offense to you, obviously, but those publication claiming the draft chart has become relic have been proven VERY wrong....now more than ever.I could be wrong and probably am, but I think the draft Chart has become more of a relic, more for fans to use to guage trades. I see more and more teams giving up draft picks for players or opportunity to draft certain players.
if Sewell or Slater are selected at 10. I would entertain trades for TSmith. Starts with a 1st and goes up from there

Whether GMs should follow the chart is something for others to debate.
but the fact is, more than ever, they follow that chart to a tee.....or at least to within plus/minus 5%.
Its uncanny.
And this is true for almost every single trade for the last decade
pick any trade not involving the top 3 overall picks or active olayers (so justdraft picks) over the last 10-15 years and test it yourself if you like.
They follow that chart very closely and very predictably
