Rototimes RUMOR: 2008 3rd and 2009 5th for pac... Jerry don't go there!

In case the link does not work, here is what it says. the trade of Pacman Jones to the Cowboys is close to being completed, with the hold up being how the team will settle the grievance with Pacman over financial matters. Apparently, the team’s have agreed on a 3rd round pick being sent to Tennessee along with a conditional pick, believed to be a 5th rounder, if the Cowboys were to make it to the Superbowl. It also appears that Roger Goodell has given his blessing to the deal and has stated that he would re-instate Pacman as soon as Pacman and the team work out the issues over his grievance.

MY OPINION. this is crazy Jerry.

IIRC, rototimes said the deal was done once before and was totally wrong. So I won't believe it until someone else like Schefter reports it.

Our View: Pacman will apparently get his wish and be able to suit up for the Cowboys this season, though this will only happen once he and the Titans finally settle how to best pay money that he feels is owed to him. His talent is unquestioned on the field, but he certainly brings with him a massive amount of baggage.

I don't believe the old man cracked!

Baloney.

There is no way we passed on their request for a 4th and offered a 3rd.

Why would Jerry make a stupid move like this. this guy is not worth the risk of a 3rd and 5th round pick. the Titans got the best of this deal. Jerry just can not help himself. is chris henry next?GOOD GRIEF!

Rototimes I believe is also the source that said the deal was done last time. I also have a hard time believing Goodell who has taken a hard stance on PacMan all along and said he would not reinistate him till June if at all would suddenly let the world know he will do if PacMan is traded.

You have got to be kidding me?

Did Jerry Channel Al Davis?

IF true i don't like giving a third, not one little bit. Jerry you gambling fool:D

I wouldn't worry too much given Rototimes track record. They're the one's who've said that the deal is "imminent" on numerous occassions even went as far as to say their was a press conference planned for monday after the owner's meetings.

Nobody would give up a 3rd rounder for Pac. A 4th or 5th is the highest i see this going and even then its a stretch IMO.

Good thing is that it sounds like somehting will get done soon enough so we can all end the speculation

We better have a warranty coming, like a 3rd back from the Titans next year if Pac gets himself suspended again.

A freaking 3rd?

Dam it Jerry, what the hell are you doing?

I will believe it when I see it...and even then I might not believe it.:D

Isn't this the same wack *** site that reported it was done 2 weeks ago....
