If....there is any truth to this, which considering Rototimes track record I question, but "if" we did give this up for Jones, I'm disappointed in Jerry Jones. If....we did give up a 3rd, then I would think that we will almost certainly "try"...very hard...to find a trading partner to trade down with in an attempt to recoup the 3rd rounder we gave up for Jones. I am hoping that we hear more about this, one way or the other, from a more reliable source than Rototimes though.

OK, Say it's true what JJ is offering, might this explain why absolutely no other team is in the mix? Sure Pacman is a huge risk at this point, but he is still a major talent and I refuse to believe that there are not other teams out there that would give up a 5th or 6th rounder for him. If it's out there among the owners and GM's that JJ has offered a 3rd or more for him, it could explain why the Cowboys ARE the only team in the mix.

This is one of the dumbest rumors I've heard. The original source of this rumor was a Tennessee paper. Does anybody doubt somebody within the Titan organization fed this line to that paper probably in an effort to show the readers how great the Titan organization is and how they holding out for a great pick. Also believe Bud Adams involved and probably doing everything he can to make himself look great & Jerry look like a suckekr.

There have been reports for a while that we sticking to our 6th rounder & they want a 4th rounder. Also numerous reports Titans want a conditional 09but we also want a 09 pick from Titans if Pacman doesn't work out. So all of a sudden Jerry rushes to offer them a 3rd, which is better then they even asking for. Come on guys, get real. Some of you either have already bought that beach front property in Arizona or seriously need enter rehab.

Is the main problem most have with giving a 3rd is that they are going to release him anyway? The reason I ask is that, obviously, if the kid stays clean it is a bargain for a 3rd? Problem is that you will not know that until it is too late.

My take? Jerry is 65, and very close to having a SB team. IMO he is at the stage where he'll pay the devil to get that ring without Jimmy J. and have people say "Ya, Jerry can win one without Jimmy". All the signs are there. Tuna, TO, Tank, Zach, Pac, etc.......
