Roy is still the best WR on the team

So maybe I had to watch a couple of highlight videos to reinforce that opinion - and I urge you guys to do the same- but even though I might be in a small group, I still believe that to be the case.

I still believe he's also the best WR in the NFC east.

I find myself thinking, if Romo was injured and Kitna was playing QB, what will Roy's production be like right now. And my answer: we'll be a worse team with a worse offense but with a clear cut number 1 WR, with number 1 numbers. I'll surely take this alternative.

I'm frustrated that he and Romo haven't got on the same page and this seems to be one of those exceptional cases where it takes too long to happen. But I believe they will. And Miles has afforded us to luxury of having more time for it to occur.

He's had some of his best games against the Eagles so here's to hoping that's an ominous harbinger for the inauguration of this connection ;)

I get what you're saying but until it shows up on the field i'd say Austin is miles ahead of him right now.

^^^ Like what I did there :D ?

I'm excited that our offense is rolling without our "#1" receiver contributing much--if he and Romo start clicking, look out

must be nice to have your NFL career set based on what you did in college.

RW could be but right now he is not. He and Romo will continue to work and hopefully things will start to click for them. I still a believer in hard work pays off in the end

Miles is producing, Roy isn't. So that's a given. I'm just talking of the skill set and what each WR can do. I believe Miles has a number one skill set and have been a long advocate of him starting since last season.

But to look at it in another light, remember how much Kitna talked up Hurd during training camp. And how he hardly threw to Miles after that dropped slant in the preseason, and only threw towards Hurd? If Kitna were starting, we won't even be hearing about Miles right now.

My point being, opportunity and chemistry have been big factors in this. More so that ability. They should have got it by now- Romo and Roy that is- but watch out when they do because this guy is a legit weapon on the football field. A lot of people are forgetting that, maybe rightfully so.

Isn't that what happens to all college players. They shred the guys who end up working blue and white collar jobs only to end up playing against the best of the best in the NFL and then they aren't quite as great as they were in college.

btw, even in those vids, Roy Willians has lumbering movements. He is slow and not very agile. His biggest assets are his strength and size. To me that means he isn't a legit #1 but can be a good #2.

Obviously and they still get credit for it no matter how much crap their putting out in the NFL it's sad.
