the reason they dont throw to newman is because Roy is usually on that side as RCB line up on the same side as SS so if the receiver DID catch the ball he has a chance to get knocked out cold, see amani toomer after he pushed Roy.

i wasn't able to see that game, but i have noticed when Roy gets "burnt" he is on Henry's side and most of our opposition pass to the side that has henry and watkins/davis guarding it
