Roy Williams and Sean Taylor - The Debate Must End

Roy has had a lot more time to get recognized all-pro, and Sean will make all-pro when his off-the-field issues fade. Your expecting a 3 year player to have accomplished everything that a 6 year player has.
Anyways, all cowboy fans have said that Larry Allen didn't deserve to go to the pro-bowl, that he got there on name only. And everyone knows that Mike Vick didn't deserve to be there either. He's not even a top 10 QB in most people's lists. On the other hand, there are people who finally got the deserved recognition. Read: Mack Strong.

Roy made All-Pro in his second year. What's Taylor's excuse.

Do me a favor, and don't make things up.

This is Roy's 5th season.

I have the prettiest small baby nipples you would ever see in your lifetime...too bad the hair covers them. :p:

Two things will survive a nuclear holocaust: cockroaches and Roy Williams vs. Sean Taylor debates.

Can someone post clips of Coles and Stinkston ducking RW?
I know Stinkston ducked Taylor too, he is such a pansy.

If I'm not mistaken, both are in the Roy's Boom video.

Go to our Image Zone and do a search for it.

There's actually a clip of Roy laying out Coles on youtube.

Pinkston clearly leaked in his undies when he was going across the middle and saw Roy coming up on him. It was pretty obvious. I think he got called out by the announcers, too. That's prolly in the Boom vid, too.

I guess by this simple logic, Art Monk should get into the HOF way before Irving. One was a great guy, the other was a law-breaking a-hole. Oh yeah, and Monk had better stats.
Monk has marginally more rec, and rec yrds and only because he played for 3 more seasons. Irvin was twice the rec Monk was...

LOL did you see him head butt Tnew at the end of that video and Newman goes flying backwards?

And yes, I believe Irvin should be in the HOF, and I think Monk should too. Irvin cleaned up his act, and should therefore be considered a great player because he was. If Irvin stayed a punk, maybe not. However the difference between Irvin and Taylor is that Irvin, despite his troubles, was a model player on the field and was the leader of that 90s team.

If Taylor cleans up his act, then cool.

Also, watching the Boom video, I'm reminded that Roy's hit on Kurt Warner during his rookie year was the one that broke Kurt's wrist and caused Marc Bulger to take over. Kurt never seemed to come back and shake off that hit...

Well, one is a SS and the other is a FS. Still, I'll go with Williams here, because Taylor's value is largely based on his potential (hype) rather than what he's done on the field (inconsistency). Just one man's opinion.

I remember that game, the week before Pinkston did the same thing with Sean Taylor and Ryan Clark. He has to be the biggest coward at WR in the entire league.

Thanks, I can't watch it now (at work), but I will when I get home. I wasn't trying to imply that you were making things up or anything, i just never have seen anyone duck RW. Then again, my experience watching Cowboys games is pretty limited.
And I didn't know that Stinkston ducked Taylor either. I was out all last season (2004).

Are you talking about when RW headbutted TNew? Because the only thing i can think of is when Ladell Betts shoved Newman into the ground.

What inconsistency? He's more than solid in coverage, esp. deep. Gregg Williams also switches him with the SS on obvious run downs on 3rd and short. The only way you could really call him inconsistent, is if he goes through having good games and then bad games, he's had less than 2 or 3 bad games in 2 seasons. That isn't inconsistent at all.

I simply disagree with you. I've seen him terribly out of position in coverage, completely blowing his coverage responsibility. He also has a tendency to hurt his team by acting like a jack-A, on the field, and cost them yards with stupid penalties. This is the inconsistency I speak of. Roy Williams is over-rated, but not as over-rated as Sean Taylor. Just one man's opinion.
