Evidence for what? For what I see on the field? I'm not talking about injuries or endurance, I'm talking about speed and covering ground. Put 10-15 pounds of fat on an olympic sprinter I bet he slows down. My point is why not trim down and give yourself a chance to play as fast as you can.

what is your evidence? Do you have a 40 time from his rookie year to compare to his 40 time now? Is the weigt making him more tired at the end of the game? How many leg injuries has he had? NONE?

The trainers on every team keep a very close eye on every one of the things I just mentioned.. and if he was not able to maintain speed, endurance and was having injuries, that was contributed to by his weight, you can bet it would have been addressed. Players today do not get to choose what they weigh, it is all done by the team.

You post some other stats from other posters....which were wrong....and try to pass it off as some sort of fact that Roy is a super star.

I don't think he sucks. However, I don't think he played well last year. It gets twisted into "You hate Roy" and "You think Roy sucks" by others.

There were aspects of his game that just weren't very good this year. I hate people trying to mock me when I bring that up. People get up in arms over any criticism of the guy and if you indicate that you think he is anything less than a superstar, you get raked over the coals.

Like I've said many places, I hope Phillips gets more out of Roy (because I do think he is capable of more) and I hope someone can motivate him off the field a little bit more.
